Mu Yan was shocked after seeing her . She looks pale and sick . He recalled that night when he decides to betray her . He stabbed her two times with full force leaving a deep cut on her . Seeing her go into the woods in that state makes him feel so guilty . "...Xiao Xiu..."

"Why are you here , Mr Qi ?" , Xiu asked with a cynical tone in her voice .

"Xiao Xiu , let's go back , huh ? I'm...I'm sorry...I'm a fool to do that to you...For..forgive me , okay ?" , Mu Yan kneeled in front of her and begged her pitifully .

"Your dad , right ?" , she guessed .

Mu Yan lifted his head and meet her eyes . Xiu saw tears on his face and was about to forgive him but then Xi Mu intervened , "Just go back first" , Xi Mu pulled my hand and bring me inside leaving Mu Yan alone there .

Xi Mu looks angry but at the same time, he takes medicine box to take her pills . Xiu did not dare to ask him as his face looks like he can kill anyone right now . His eyebrows furrowed like an angry bird . He comes close to her and let her take the pills . "Here , eat this"

Xiu takes the pills from his big hand and swallows all the pills in one gulp . She opened her mouth to let him know she was done taking her medicines . "I'm done , look here"

Xi Mu looks at her and say , "Good , go sleep" , his face expressionless but his eyes say everything . His eyes look so furious that even a block of ice melts faster than usual .

Xiu takes the courage to talk to him . "Hey"

"What ?"

"Are you angry ?"

Xi Mu stopped his work immediately and faced her , "Do you even need to ask ? You are sick ! I said don't go out unless it's necessary . You almost caught fever last night . Your wounds are deep , girl ! It will cut open back if you do not take care of it . Also , is that.."

"Okay okay okay ...stop !" , Xiu put a stop to his nagging . He's nagging just like a mom would be . "I got it , okay ? I will not do it again" , Xiu makes a promise to him .

Xi Mu stands up and walks to her . He pulled her hand and brings her to the bed . He put both his hand on her shoulder and make her sit on the bed . "Just sleep , you look pale" , he said and put the blanket to cover her whole body . After he make sure she's covered , he takes the air conditioner's remote control to increase the temperature so she won't be cold at night . He's been doing that from the first time she's here . Just like a devoted husband would do to his beloved wife .

After he's done with it , he comes back to her and caressed her hair softly , "Goodnight"

Xiu feels comfortable around him , she just lets her guards down without thinking much from the starts . Xiu stares at him and said , "Xi Mu...I can't sleep" , her eyes look like a desperate cat want its owner .

Xi Mu smiled , goes under the blanket, and lie down beside her . "Can sleep now ?"

Xiu fix her position to face him , "Em" , she nodded .

Xi Mu shakes his head as he finds her needy behaviors cute .
