Forbid you
Amber had an amazing time with Ben as always. She thought he was a really fun person to hang out with.
She got back a little past seven pm and she was extremely exhausted and she went straight to her room.
" It's so dark in here" she said as she turned on the lights.
"Aaaaah .. ooh my ..." she screamed when she turned around to bump in to someone.
"Leon" she did not expect him to be in her room .
"You scared me ... what are you doing here"
"It's my house" he said as if stating the obvious.
"but the room is mine you told....."
"where have you been Amber" he cut her off
"out with a friend I thought I told you before I left "
"which friend "
"My friend from home " she tried to sound as composed as possible.
Her heart was beating so fast .
She did not like lying to Leon but there is no way she could tell him she went out to meet Ben.
he walked closer to her ever so slowly and she instinctively stepped backwards till her back hit the door and he blocked her with his arms.
"So you dare lie to me straight to my face hmm Amber" his voice was ever so soft and he tucked some strands of her hair behind her ear.
"Leon I'm not....."
"You went to meet him right" she saw him sniff her hair.
"Leon I..."
"Did you meet with him" his voice was a little more strained .
"Yes ... " she replied to have him bang the door hard and she panicked.
"Leon he just wanted to talk to me"
" So you were just talking since morning hmm "
"Yes Leon we are just friends nothing more"
"listen Amber [he held her chin and raised it] from today onwards I forbid you from ever seeing him again you here me"
"What! Leon no you don't get to decide that " she said to have him pull away and walk towards her bed .
"Leon he's my friend the only one I can say I actually have at the moment so you can't do this I'm keeping him"
"Listen Amber I'm not saying this again you are mine till the contract ends period"
"Leon I know that but does that mean I can't have friends or get to know other people"
"My word is final Amber" he left her room banging her door.
Amber did not know what to do.
She had already promised Ben she would meet him again tommorow. Ben wanted to take her out and she just could not cancel.
"He doesn't own me and he doesn't get to pic who I'm associated with" she said tried convinsing herself but she still had a certain level of fear.
'what if he finds out' she thought
"no I'll just leave without him noticing I already promised Ben I can't just cancel"
