Amber woke up early the next day.
She had to meet up with Ben as he said he would be going back to New York later tonight.
She just hoped Leon had already left for work.
"hey Cheryl a minute please" she called on to Cheryl who was cleaning the hallway of their floor.
"Yes ma'am may I help you"
"Yes I just want to know if Leon has already left for work"
"Yes ma'am he has Left just a few minutes ago"
"Oh ok Cheryl thanks .....and also did I not tell you not to call me ma'am makes me feel old" she tried to make a joke.
"I'm sorry....Amber"
"that's better"
Amber was very relieved Leon was out ... she was very sure there is no way Leon would let her meet up with Ben and she was yet to understand why.
She dressed up and wore the dress Ben particularly bought for her and which she also thought was beautiful.
She wore heels because he told her he loves heels on women .
In less than an hour she was at the hotel she was supposed to meet with Ben.
"miss Amber follow me" a waiter took her to where Ben was.
She saw him busy on his laptop and she felt guilty because she knew he only came because she bombarded him with her problems when he was obviously very busy
"Hey Ben" she said it in a whisper even though she didn't know why she was whispering.
He looked up with a frown but replaced it with a smile when he saw her.
"Hey Amber " he said as he stood to give her a hug and she hugged him back.
"how was your night " he pulled out a chair for her "thank you..... and my night was ok I got home tired so I sleep early and like a baby"
"well good for you ... I only slept for two hours"
"I'm so sorry Ben I didn't mean to trouble you "
He closed his laptop and set it at the edge of the table giving her all his attention.
"It's ok Amber and also never hesitate to talk to me about your problems"
"thank you Ben " she said sincerely.
"Ok can I see your dress now do a spin for me darling" he teased her.
"No Ben I'm really shy to do that besides you have a really over powering stare " she blushed .
" So I'm not allowed to see how good you look in the dress I bought " he raised a brow at her .
"Ok If you insist " she got up and made the spin showing every angle of her
" happy now" she asked him after he remained silent .
"Yes I am"
"What! you won't even compliment me " she frowned .
He laughed at her reaction 'women' he thought.
"I know that whatever I say will be an understatement but here it goes ... you look divine"
"thankyou" she said while blushing.
"you're really cute Amber just wish you were mine " he stared deep in to her eyes.
"Ben please stop I told you....."
"I know you have a 'contractual' boyfriend but just a month to go I can wait "
Amber did not know what to say . She liked Ben but only as a friend but when it comes to Leon she knew she liked him as a man but she did not want to think about it .
