Chapter 122

After they chatted about work for a bit, they headed back to the office. 

"Thanks for lunch, Brody. I can call you that, right?"

"You sure can. And you're welcome. When we get back to the office, I'll tell you about my plans for Mitts. It's going to be huge. I'm hoping it will just add to the sports magazine's success." He smiled proudly. 

The Mitts television sports program was his brainchild and was excited to talk to her about it. Violet seemed cool, and he already was having a great time with her. 

Back in the office, they finished up what they had worked on from the meeting that morning. Brody and Violet sat joking and telling stories after a long day of work. She got a kick out of hearing him talk about his old road trips with the Yankees baseball team. 

They were laughing at a story when Stephanie walked in, looking mad at the interaction. "What is going on here?"
