Chapter 169

The next week, IWX and ASE pulled together for a one night only cross over show special. Backstage, all the wrestlers were a buzz with gossip about the recent abductions. Even as large as Ashford Sports was, there was no fighting an enemy you couldn't see. Even the private investigators they hired were coming up sort. 

Michael and Paul stood with Gage Stone, addressing their wrestlers before the show. 

"We made a collective choice to invite local indie groups here tonight with us. Veteran wrestlers, please support these men and women. We are all going through this tragic situation together. Some of the other companies are doing joint projects this week as well." Gage took a breath, trying not to cry. "Tonight, ASE and IWX will all go out there as a combined force. We will show the world we are a family. Even if we are on different rival shows, we're a community and a family."
