The Cellar

Water splashes in my face and i sputter, choking. People around me laugh, but someone shushes them.

I struggle, but my hands and feet were tied to the chair I was sitting on. I had a roaring headache from the party and I wince. "Where am I?" I croak, still a little out of it.

Someone snickers. "In a cellar you dumbass."

A grunt of pain follows the comment and a different voice hisses a shut up at them.

I whimper. "I want to go home." I look around, but close my eyes as I get dizzy. Someone strokes my jaw and I open my eyes. It was a woman. "Hello love." the same voice as the one in the woods. "I hope they didn't treat you too badly."

"Look, I didn't do anything okay? So...you can just let me go now. I wont say a word...promise." I beg.

"Hmm." she pretends to consider it. "No i'm sorry darling, I can't do that."

In the dim light, I see her grin maliciously. I tremble slightly. I want to go home. I squeeze my eyes shut. I'm scared.

"Luna. Enough." A male voice. I crack my eyes open and see a man... no, a boy around my age, maybe a little older. It was too dark to make out any major details, but I could tell that he was pretty tall, and had a muscular build.

He looks at me and I shrink back has far as I could with me being strapped to a chair.

He walks over to me and begins unstrapping me. "No funny business. You're to do what I tell you to do when I tell you to do it." He says.

I nod, but as soon as my legs are untied, I dart for where I think stairs would be located. I was in a cellar, so there had to be stairs.

It turns out I went the wrong way, and the mistake had cost me. In seconds, I was pressed to the floor by the guy, my arm twisted behind my back. He growls in my ear and presses down, causing pain to shoot down my spine. I scream.

"I can make you feel pain in ways you couldn't imagine." he murmurs in my ear. "Try me again and this wont be all you get. Understand?"

I nod, each movement, causing more pain. Tears fall from my eyes.

He gets off me and pulls me to my feet. He grabs my arm and pulls me to the stairs I misjudged the location of. "Where are you taking me?" I look behind me and the group who was following me into the cellar was following us up the stairs.

After we leave the cellar, he takes me outside. I look around frantically, but to my despair it looked like we were literally in the middle of a forest. I look behind me again and to my surprise a huge mansion lies behind. Was I just in there? It didn't feel like it.

He takes me around the side on a path and we reach a courtyard. There was a large, thick pole in the center with metal cuffs on each side.

He walks me towards it but I stop. "W-wait...that's a whipping pole right?"

He looks at me in annoyance. "Yeah. Now lets go."

I plant my feet, looking at him in terror. "No....please don't make me....please." I look at the pole.

"Did you not learn your fucking lesson?" he growls in disbelief. "Fine, I guess i'll have to teach it once more."

In an instant, my feet were swept from underneath me. I land flat on my back, my breathe knocked from my lungs. My vision goes blurry, and I try to gasp for air. I couldn't because it felt like there was a heavy weight on my chest.

When my vision clears, I realize there WAS a heavy weight on my chest. That guys knee to be exact.

I grunt, still trying to get enough air, and try pushing his knee off of me.

Tears fill my eyes. I didn't want to die! I hear a rushing noise, and right as my eyes start rolling back the pressure releases. I gasp for air. Sweet sweet air. I cough and stare at the guy with wide eyes.

Why was this happening to me? It wasn't fair!
