Last Training

Over the next couple of months, Apollo pushed me hard. He made me run through obstacle courses and fight against real life assassins.

Now, looking at myself in my mirror, I was pleased. My muscles were toned and for the first time in my life I felt very attractive. When I walked through the halls, all the girls would swoon over me. My piercing green eyes and dark brown hair also pulled them in. Even Nyx had started eyeing me up and down when she thought I wasn't looking.

It was too bad that I was gay as Nyx was a very beautiful girl. There was one person who had caught my eye over the time I had been there, and that was Apollo. Over time I had realized that is sharp jaw, dark eyes, and especially his glare was really hot.

I sigh to myself, pretty sure he wasn't gay. Today was my last training, or so Apollo told me earlier. A week from today there would be trials, in which the boss would test our physical and mental endurance and then pick who he thought would be best for his... work.

I met Apollo outside and we started training by going through a run in the woods. We ran silently, side by side, and I took a moment to enjoy the sounds of nature.

When we made it back to the mansion about 40 minutes later, he handed me a bottle of water and watched me drink it. I smile at him and he rolls his eyes.

"Lets go." he says, turning and walking towards the training ground. I follow him, and after a couple of hours of training, he sends me inside to get showered.

After me shower I flop onto my bed with a sigh. I had a week to chill and do whatever I wanted with my time. I smile to myself.

After watching T.V for a bit I turn it off and clean my room up a bit.

A knock on my door makes me look up from making my bed. "Who is it?" I ask cautiously. One of the biggest things that Apollo had drilled into my head was to not trust anybody, especially the people here.

"It's me you dummy." I hear Nyx sigh.

I grin, and open the door. Nyx had quickly become my best friend, and despite Apollo's warnings, one of the only people I could really trust here.

"Ready for a week of no one telling us to run faster?" she smirks up at me, crossing her arms and leaning against the door frame.

"Hell yeah." I grin at her. "What do you want to do first?"

She grins back, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "Let's go. I have so much planned already." She grabs my arm and pulls me out of my room. Luckily I was already wearing shoes.

"They are going to be SO mad." She laughs, flipping her hair out of her face.

"What did you do?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.

"You mean what did WE do?" She smirks.

I narrow my eyes at her, confused.

"You'll see." she reassures me, leading me to the elevator.
