Real Game

He was strong. Allen fought him in the second match and it was a draw. Allen could see that to win against him….was not possible. Sure, he could use the analysis skill and do some things, but it had a limit.

Allen already got to know every skill, but because of this man's powerful strength, things would not work out.

According to Allen's experience, it was going to take at least another 4 to 5 matches for things to turn tables, the analysis would also help more, but the problem was that another 4 to 5 matches meant it may become best out of 13, Allen recognized after losing once that he probably could not deal with that kind of contact without effects for a few times let alone so many unpredictable times that he might end up with.

Allen could take on speed and defense with his own speed, attack, and defense.

But having an attack-focused opponent in a small area showed his build in the game. Allen had a certain build in the game. He did not make any jack of all-trades characters to avoid loss in the long run. He never thought this would become so serious so soon in the game. This was too…sudden.

He said," I would have taken some other new character before coming here If I knew this was going to be the case. The level would have reset to lvl 1, anyway."

He could not fathom how to bring back this opponent. There were no tricks left with him.

The opponent did not have the same thoughts. He came close to Allen and stopped. Allen looked at him, and the person looked at Allen. Soon, Allen could see that he was not in the arena anymore. He thought, was I eliminated so fast? How?"

Allen could see some images of the life events of a person who was the same one fighting him right now. His analysis skill was activated and soon it displayed some problems and issues of the person as deduced from these images of history.

Allen read all of that and some of it was that this person had a severe patient in his family, who had a historic track record of hospitals, the family depended upon the patient before for their main source of income, but they were surviving even without him. It was not a luxurious life, and they took a lot of debt, but they were not beggars. Allen could also see some other things, but they were disjointed.

There were even some incomplete sentences because of the blur images that sometimes appeared to Allen. It read to him "The —-has been a patient of—-—- since 2—-blood—donated—--death warning——-

Soon he could see a sad man sitting by himself now. Allen could identify him as the person who he was fighting in the arena.

The man said to himself," Why did you go, father? We never learned…how to cope with such a thing…"

Allen looked around and he could notice that a screen that apparently made him unable to enter that area separated him and the man. The man was also not looking at his side. Allen tried to shout a little, but he either couldn't hear or didn't bother to respond. Allen thought it was the former. There were no signs that he was ignoring him purposely. He was still going on with his monologue.

Allen could see that some kind of comment window opened in front of him. He wondered what was it; the analysis pooped up

An interface to communicate with the people separated by the wall.

NOTE: Think carefully before you type anything!! It may have an unknown effect on the person in real life.

Allen didn't know what to make of that last statement. He said to himself," How can it have a direct effect on the person?"

The analysis popped up:

It is possible as right now we are connected to the subconscious of the person, any heart penetrating suggestions right now will be more effective than they would be in real life

NOTE: Think carefully before you type anything!!

Allen gulped. He could see that it was a great opportunity. He could not beat him in the arena safely after all. The person's safety, however…

Allen said to himself, "Even if he is affected….it would probably be temporary, but his current status right now in the game is not temporary at all. There are only a few unknown variables in this case and we can remedy them later, but there are too many unknown variables in the game now that if this is not resolved, there is no guarantee that it might get solved in the future. If anything goes wrong….I…I will take responsibility, for his family and everything else."

Allen thought to message in the real world, but he could not get a message from the real world for some time. Allen sweat a lot. He could feel the tension. Allen looked at the comment section once and then at the instructions given by the analysis skill. He moved his hand forward and wrote a message after listening to the man ramble. He wrote,

"People have gone before too. They would think that their families can't work without them, but people have also proven that it is a wrong thought. The ones left behind have taken care of themselves even without the departed person, time and time again. Even though the ones left behind may also have…thought they could not handle things without a certain someone. It has happened for others…it will happen now too."

Allen then looked at the button send and clicked it.

The man looked a little affected by that, but he soon said "But, the situation is not the same for me. Others lost people in the peace times, either by old age or some other case where they could prepare themselves for this…things are not the same now. Sudden deaths have happened. I don't even get the time to grieve properly and be sad because of the situation outside. It is not the….same, really not the same. This even happened on my friend's marriage day. He ended up dead too."

Allen got to hear some things…..the images appeared again and gave him some more data about the life of the man. The marriage that he was talking about was the same one Allen was attending with his friend.

The matter dealing with the depression over the departed person was being justified by the man, using another loss that he had taken.

Allen again wrote in the comment box,

"It is fine to grieve for someone gone. The wound may not heal even after a while. It is fine to remember someone for many years. It is fine. But,…deaths are always sudden, not everyone dies by old age. Even you know about it. It is just that you are letting one negative assumption lead you to another….negative assumption. You are letting yourself remain stuck in your own world."

The man said," Then, should I not grieve now?"

Allen wrote, "You can grieve freely, but you need to get out of this vicious thought cycle first"

The man said" I don't know what to choose between you two"

This made the alarm bell ring in Allen's mind. There was no one there except the both of them. Allen could see from the wording used that this man was not using the terminology, both of you, to refer to his inner voice and Allen. But there was someone else that was trying to fill the heart of this man.

Allen tried to see with his analysis skill, but he could see nothing. Allen thought, 'It is entirely possible that someone hid behind some wall like this one.'

Allen said to himself," But….who? Are the creatures also behind this?"
