Brian's Kindness

On the way back to Abriella's house, Abriella who sat beside Brian, was silent and digested what had just happened to her earlier.

"What happened to me?" Abriella asks Brian.

Brian, who was currently focused on driving, glanced at him and looked back at the road in front of him. And when they arrived at a chandelier, Brian exhaled and faced Abriella who was still waiting for an explanation of her question just now.

"I don't know what you went through before, but when Mr. Albert and I came out of the room. We saw that you were lying on the floor with the spilled glass beside you. Are you okay? Should we go to the doctor?" Brian asked after he explained how he and Albert had found the unconscious Abriella.

Abriella shook her head, refusing to be taken to a doctor. Because she thought she was okay, she just felt dizzy earlier. "I'm fine, I guess I'm just too tired today!" Abriella replied to Brian who returned to drive the car they were in when the green light was back on.

"I hope so too, Ella… But if you ever experience something like this again, please don't ignore it and go see a doctor!" Brian also said that and begged the woman to pay more attention to her health, especially after last month's incident that should have made Abriella live healthier than before.

Abriella smiled when she heard the request from Brian who seemed very concerned about her, and cared about her. She nodded his head and replied, "Fine... I'll do that if this happens to me again." She said, and she agreed to Brian's request. Which made the man chuckle.

The car that Brian was driving had arrived in the basement, Abriella's apartment. Making Abriella silent for a moment when Brian parked the car and turned off the engine. Brian's breath was heard in Abriella's ears, making the woman turn to her who was looking at her with a smile on her face.

"Come on… We're here, right? I'll take you to your apartment!" Brian said to Abriella who was surprised and blinked repeatedly, knowing that the man would escort her to her apartment.

"B-but..."

"I got this order from Mr. Albert. Besides, I don't want anything to happen to you either. Then I'll make sure you get back to your apartment safely!" It was clear that Brian was now looking deeply at Abriella, so Abriella was hypnotized by Brian's beautiful eyes.

"Come on!" The invitation from Brian managed to break their gazes, and Abriella blinked repeatedly as she nodded her head repeatedly and got out of the car. Meanwhile, the man smiled faintly and got out of the car to approach Abriella who was waiting for him.

The two of them got into the elevator and stood side by side in the elevator which turned out to be empty to the floor where Abriella's room was. Of course, no one else would come home in the middle of the night like this right? Except for the two of them who did work overtime.

Abriella opened her apartment door and turned to look at Brian who was standing behind her with a smile.

"Um… Would you like to come in first, Brian? I guess you'd better have a cup of coffee before driving back home, wouldn't you?" Abriella offered to Brian who now raised an eyebrow and nodded slowly. Abriella also entered and invited the man to enter her apartment which was quite large.

When he entered Abriella's apartment, Brian looked around at the entire contents and layout of the apartment, which looked very neat and clean. "You live here alone, Ella?" Brian asked Abriella who nodded and pointed at the sofa where Brian could rest, while Abriella walked to the kitchen to make the coffee she had offered to Brian.

The man didn't just sit and let Abriella make coffee, he was still aware that Abriella had just woken up from her stupor. So Brian also followed Abriella's steps who walked into the kitchen and immediately stopped Abriella's activities who were taking a cup of coffee.

Abriella was silent when her right hand was held by Brian who was now standing beside her and looking at her very seriously.

"Let me make this coffee if you will. So you just need to sit back and rest!" Said Brian who then took the cup from Abriella's hand and put it on the table. Brian also pulled Abriella out of the kitchen and sat on a chair at the dining table not far from the kitchen.

"But, Brian… I—"

"Just sit back and rest!" Said Brian who still gave orders to Abriella to rest. Abriella could only nod and bite her lower lip while smiling when she saw Brian who was walking back to the kitchen.

The man ended up making coffee for himself and making Abriella a cup of tea. Even though this isn't his house, and he's tired of driving, Brian still does it for the Abriella he likes.

"I hope you don't mind because I made tea for you too!" Brian said, as he came out of the kitchen and approached Abriella. The man kept the cup of tea in front of Abriella and sat on the chair opposite Abriella to drink a sip of his coffee.

"Thanks, Brian!" Abriella said to the man who was now looking at Abriella and smiling at her.

"Any time! Tell me if you need help, anytime… I will always come and help you!" Brian replied to Abriella.

A word that means a lot to Abriella, even though the sentence is very simple. Abriella also believes that Brian is a very good person, and she is lucky that a man like Brian is present in her life. Even though their relationship is only limited to co-workers.

Abriella smiled at Brian who also smiled at her, and the two of them entered into a conversation filled with warmth and relaxation that evening. For almost an hour, they chatted coolly and Brian said goodbye when he felt that Abriella should rest because she looked tired. Although Abriella denied that she was not tired, Brian still felt that Abriella should rest while she went home.
