Illusion Master III

Arthur felt confused. After he attacked the eye spirit he felt an oppressive pressure and couldn't move. No matter how he tried he still couldn't move. When the spirit was going to attack him, he knew that it was over for him. But just at that moment the spirit screamed and fell down. Arthur was stunned. Even though he didn't know what happened he could tell that the spirit must be feeling very very painful right now. But it wasen't related to him. When the spirit fell he was able to move. He immediately ran towards the spirit and kept striking it. Now was the best moment for him to attack. He knew that if the spirit recovers, then this will be end for him.

Even though Arthur striked it many times, he still wasen't able to kill it. Suddenly the eye got up and Arthur felt that he was by hit by an unknown force and slammed into a wall. He then found that he again couldn't move. But this time the eye didn't attacked him. It was trying to flee desperately. It was trying to get out this hell of a mind.

Suddenly Arthur saw a beautiful cube which was covered in black, white and golden colours. Then before the spirit could escape out of nowhere white flames appeared around the eye and no matter what the eye tried, it wasen't able to remove the flames. Soon the illusion spirit disintegrated into particles which got absorbed by the cube. Arthur wasen't sure but he think he saw a relieved expression on the spirit.

Somewhere in the school, the Illusion Master, Maurice Austin spitted a mouthful of blood. A surprised expression appeared on his face.

'That useless spirit got refined.' He thought as he pulled out a healing rune from storage artifact and healed his wounds.

'Someone is able to refine illusion sprits here? But this shouldn't be possible. I have already checked the list. Every children is awakened by elemental energy here. So how could the spirit got refined? Could it be that one of the children has a treasure to refine illusion spirits? That sounds plausible. If someone really had a treasure then I must get my hands on it.' Greedy thought satrted to appear in his mind.

But soon he cleared those thoughts and started thinking logically because he had an important mission in this kingdom, 'I think the person who refined the spirit should be the same person who also stole the book. Otherwise, he wouldn't have refined my illusion spirit in fear that others may found out it was him. He is really a thief, first the book and now the spirit and maybe he should also have the dungeon core. A pity, my connection with the spirit broke so fast that I wasen't able to locate who was it. But atleast I was able to find out that he is a male. This kid is very different. He was able to store the book, through a mean other than a space artifact and maybe he also has a method to take dungeon cores through mysterious ways. He also had an artifact to refine a spirit. From how fast the connection is broken it should be above a D-rank artifact. I wonder how he got the artifact. Could he have double classess instead?! But he still shouldn't be able to refine the spirit. Don't tell me I have found a pridogy or something in this dying kingdom? If he is indeed a genius and I play my cards right then maybe will be able get a new pawn for the queen.' As he thought that how he will be able to do service for his kingdom he became ecstatic. Devious schemes started to appear in his mind.

'But I should be cautions. It is not confirmed if he is truly a pridogy or someone is behind him. But that is highly unlikely. Nobody except the prince knew about me coming here, so it isn't possible that someone knew about me coming here and gave the artifact to the boy. Also nobody will use such a precious artifact just for a core and an elememtal book. If the boy is really a genius them...'

Thinking of the poor prince who will help him in his plans and will become the hated enemy of this genius, a chuchkle escaped from his mouth. Nobody would have expected that the Illusion Master was actually a spy from another kingdom.

Arthur again appeared in the place which was filled with nothing but darkness. The cube was also there hovering infront of him. It was slightly bigger than a rubik's cube. When Arthur caught the cube in his hands, a thought appeared in his mind. That was to connect with the cube using elemental energy. Purple lighting appeared in his hands which was immediately absorbed by the cube. Then with a 'clink' sound the cube began to open. Arthur watched with expectant eyes and wildy beating heart in anticipation.

But a blinding kight appeared which just like its name implied blinded Arthur for few seconds. All he saw was white. When he eyes adjusted he saw a beautiful planet like thing hovering in air.

If he were to describe then it looked as there were three concentric spheres with the smallest one looked all white just like the core of a planet. The other two spheres are seen through. There were also many rings around the sphere of different colours. It looked beautiful. (Check the cover of novel)

While Arthur was thinking its uses, as if sensing his thoughts three rays of light of bkack, golden and white shot out from it which formed into three balls of same colours whose sizes were smaller than the planet and started orbiting around the planet with rings like moon.

As Arthur thought of touching them and moved his hand, he found that it was not following its command. The hand wasen't the onlt one as he coudn't move his other hand and legs too. Out of nowhere the dagger and the space element book appeared near him. The dagger started revolving around the white moon frantically like a kid trying to attract an adult's attention. The same was with the book. Arthur was dumbfounded. No matter how much he tried to move he body didn't moved.

Suddenly one of his hands began to move towards the black moon on its own. Even though Arthur don't what was happening he got the feeling from his body liek it was yearing for the black moon. Like eternal lovers who wanted to be with each other forever. This feeling started to take over his mind and Arthur also felt an urge to caught it and never separate with it no matter what happens.

Arthur's eyes started to look cloudy and his mind became chaotic. It was at this moment purple lighting appeared around his body and his hand stopped. Even though his hand stopped but it still wasen't under Arthur's control. Arthur saw as his hand which now completely covered with lighting strated moving towards the golden moon.

"Goddamnit, this is my body. What the hell are you doing?"

Arthur roared but to no avail. Just like this his hand keep moving between the black and golden moon. This went on for some time but finally his body won. But just as his hand was going to touch the black moon, an oppressive pressure came from the planet thing and Arthur was thrown away along with the dagger and the book. Arthur found that the purple lighting around him retreated and he was also able to control his body.
