lord Evans?!

Arthur pretty much had guessed about the uses of the three moons. The golden one can power up his elements. The white one is useful for weapons. And the black one is useful for his body. This was also comfirmed by the voice which told him name the name of these orbs.

The white one was called Orb of War. The golden one is Orb of Energy and the black one is Orb of Might. But the question was which to chose among them.

{Chose one.}

This was what he heard in his mind when he got near the orbs now. And there is also the strange thing that he couldn't remember how the voice sounded like. He couldn't tell that if it is a manly, feminine or mechanical voice.

This time he also didn't lose control of his body. Lighting also didn't appeared around him. Arthur found this feeling a little familiar when he lost control of his body. This was the same feeling he got when he first obtained the armor from lord Evans to protect humanity. He still remembered that time when all the protectors were given their armors. Everybody was dazed upon seeing them. Some of them even licked it...

But the feeling he got from those three orbs were much stronger. Arthur knew this feeling. This is the feeling of strength. Unparalleled strength! That black orb could make his body stronger. This was why his body got attracted towards it so much that even his mind failed to control it. This was also because Arthur is very weak now. If there was a cosmic entity instead, then its body wouldn't have reacted like that.

Arthur put those thoughts away and focused on the things before him. He firstly excluded the orb of war. It didn't have much use for him now. Even though he had a dagger but no matter how Arthur tried he couldn't activate it. He also didn't know much about weapons of this era. All the things the previous owner learned were related to elements, abilities etc. The teachers also didn't teach them much about weapons. All Arthur knew that weapons can be of different ranks. And weapons are rare below D-rank. No teacher in the school had a weapon except the principle which he used sometimes on the students when he is very angry. Until Arthur could activate it he could only use it as a normal dagger which is a little more durable.

Also Arthur couldn't use the dagger in public too lest any accomplice of the dead teacher saw it. Things will become difficult for him then. He also couldn't buy any weapon because students of this school rarely went out. As all of them were orphan they don't have to go meet someone. Also times aren't good now. The students, specially of his class should be under watch. Also the prince should be sure now that the book and core is stolen by a student following today's incident with the illusion spirit.

Arthur also panicked when he thought that prince will soon find out that he is the culprit. But he calmed down when he heard a voice say.

{Calm down. There is no need to worry about anyone finding that you are the culprit. I have already broken the spirit's connection with the person it was connected to.}

Arthur knew that since this cube protected him from the spirit then it wouldn't harm him. If it had any malicious intent towards Arthur it shouldn't have protected so as to harm him. But when he asked any questions or tried to talk with the voice, he didn't received a reply. So he left this matter for now.

Arthur wanted to increase his strength as soon as possible. The dagger couldn't be used and he also can't buy a new weapon so the orb of war is out. Now remains orbs of might and energy. Even though he wanted to chose orb of might, Arthur had a gut feeling that he wouldn't get what he is thinking from it. While he was contemplating which orb to chose, the voice sounded again in his mind.

{Chose the Orb of Energy.}

Arthur thought that the cube had finally decided to talk finally but when he asked something no reply was given. Annoyed Arthur went to chose orb of energy but just then he stopped. He willled and the space element book appeared in his hands.

Arthur came with this thought that if he was able to get the space element and then used the orb of energy then wouldn't its effects will apply on both the elements. He asked the cube and got yes as an answer.

Arthur held the book and just as he tried to put elemental energy in it, the book disappeared and he heard a 'ding' sound. Then a mechanical voice followed.

[System has been activated]

{What the...}

[A pseudo-system connected with the host has been detected]

{What are you?!}

[Assimilating with the pseudo-system]

{Stop it, what are you do-ing--}

[Pseudo-system is detected to have a malicious intent towards the host]

[Beginning the exection of pseudo-system]

{Wait plea---}

[Execution has been completed]

[Assimilating the fragments of pseudo-system]

[Welcome Host!]

Arthur was stunned so much that he don't know what to say. He sat down and started thinking what just happened. He was trying to get the space thinking and the next second the book disappeared. The next second a system activated which killed the pseudo-system who told him about the orbs. Arthur was also able to hear what the voice of the pseudo-system or cube sounded like. It was the same as that of Evans, the Entity Killer, the saviour of humanity.

When Arthur calmed down he started questioning the system.

"System?"

[Yes, host]

"Can you explain me why you killed the pseudo-system?"

[Yes, after the system activated it detected a pseudo-system connected with host. As the sole purpose of system is to help the host, it started the assimilation process with the pseudo-system to make a new system system which will be better than both the previous system and the pseudo-system. During the assimilation process the system a malicious intent towards the host by the pseudo-system. Therefore the system executed it for host's safety]
