Saying goodbye

Sophia drove them home. Williams helped her to carry the limp body of Jason into the house when she arrived.

"It's okay Williams. I'll take it from here" Sophia whispered when they were inside.

Williams leaves.

Sophia begins to carry Jason upstairs. It was difficult because Jason was heavy and big compared to her moderate stature. And she had to carry him quietly so that no one would find a cause to come downstairs.

Once Jason was in bed, she covered him up, crouching beside the bed.

Jason's eye slowly open, he reached out and touched her face. She stared at him, surprised. The touch was so tender and loving.

"....Stay here. Don't go. ....Don't leave me. ...Please" He muttered sleepily before shutting his eyes again.

Sophia thought that he wanted her to stay with him In bed tonight. But Jason knew what he meant by saying those things to her.

Sophia cupped his face. "You're drunk. If you don't sleep well tonight, you might not wake up early enough to pick Angel from the airport".

She took his hand into hers and slowly kissed his knuckles. Standing up, she placed his hand on his stomach. Then she leaves.

'What's wrong with me. I was once a cold heartless woman. I was a rebellious proud queen. Now I'm passionately kissing the knuckles of the Man who killed my father. Pathetic'

She thought as she left the room. Once she was outside the mansion, she felt a gnawing feeling in her heart.

Why did she feel like this ....knowing she would never have a reason to come back here again. Why did she feel as if she was leaving part of her in this house.

She turned back to the mansion.

....Janvier.....

She realized that She would leave for school tomorrow before she would wake up. That meant, tonight would be the last time she would see her again.

She had to say her final goodbye. She wouldn't let her know she was leaving. But she just wanted to spend a beautiful moment with her. The last time she would spend with her.

....Probably forever.....
