Made of Glass!

That was how I was known in the empire. The devil who killed her own family. No one even tried to know who I had killed and why.. All they did was to accuse me for that, yet I was never punished.

Even killing a single noble could lead to your death punishment, yet I did not even face a trial! Have they never thought about why it was so? Those screams! Those wails still haunt me and yet I was the villainess like always.

I came out of my reverie when I felt a metallic smell, filling my nose. I looked down at my hands, I was so immersed in the past again that I didn't even realize that I had broken the cup in my hands.

Its pieces have pierced my fingers and palm. But I didn't feel any pain. I was numb, my heart, my emotions, everything was numb as it was neither the first time, nor it would be the last time when i was called the villainess and now that i have gained the title, i make sure that i keep up to the expectation of people who have adorned me with it.

In true sense, they all were the villains of my life. They were the ones who forced me to be a villainess. And I will make sure that they will get what they deserve. After all, revenge was the best dish when served cold.

I raised my hand to stop Maria walking towards me. Even Clara looked at me concerned. I shook my head and they stopped right there, when my eyes met the man who finally realized that he had said touched a sleeping snake that was flickering his tongue towards him now.

"I mean all those rumors must have affected your mind.'' He tried his best to cover the matter while I just chuckled.

"Those are not rumors and you are right there. I did not feel any emotion. I am a cold hearted person that did not even bat an eyelid even when I killed you right here. It will not even take me a second to take the piercing glass out of my hands and then cut the main nerve of your nape.

And all these knights would not even be able to move before you fell on the ground and coughed blood. You will wish that your death would come soon as the pain would be endurable, but then you would continue to bleed without dying due to enough blood in your body.

These dimwit will try to capture me instead of saving you when the girl setting here would shout and remind them that you could still be saved, only then would they come to their sense and world realize their folly yet it is too late,

The time they have spent has already drained more than half of the blood of your body. And before even reaching the carriage, you will struggle for one last time in their hands and die right there.

Though i have to face the trouble of cleaning the whole palace and garden area. I am still willing to take the trouble. Sigh, i am just upset that i have to kill the girl and the knights too so that i can get rid of the witnesses and proof and once again this incident would turn into another rumors due to lack of evidences.'' I looked at the prince whose face had turned white even though the girl was looking at me as if she could see her death sitting in front of her.

Their panicking heartbeats were so fast that I could hear them from this distance. The way knights were trembling and their knees were getting weak, I sneered at them. Those who loved their life so much should not have decided to be knighted in the first place.

The man was so stunned that he did not speak even when I took the tea from my mother's hand and started sipping on it leisurely. The blood was still flowing from my other hands, yet I did not feel a thing as I enjoyed their fear of me.

"What happened, your highness. You are losing too grim. I was just joking.'' I only added once I had finished drinking my tea but the man was still not able to respond properly.

"Clara, continue to serve the guests. I have other work to do. And yes! Show the lady and her both knights their rooms.'' I stood up and was ready to leave when I heard the falling knife and cutlery and shook my head. Wasn't the reaction too late!:? Whom he was showing his anger now!?

I left the room without turning back when I heard whispers. Without paying any heed, I walked straight to my office and sat on the chair.

"My lady, you are finally.." the rest of the words died in his mouth as the files fell from the hands of Liam. He ran towards me with a worried face and tried to hold my hand but he was too afraid that he would hurt me further as the pieces of glass were too small and had entered deeper in my skin.

"Maids, maids.. What are you doing? Could you not see that my lady is injured!?" he shouted as he looked around with panic filled eyes, he called them as if he was the one who was dying.

"So noisy!'' I commented as he continued to shout when he was standing too close to me.

I saw the maids looking worried, they ran towards me with medicine. They held my hands and cleaned it for treatment. Their movements were too gentle as if I was made of glass.
