I chuckled again as my eyes filled with delight. I felt a sense of accomplishment when he started enjoying his meal with so much enthusiasm.

"Hey, slow down.'' I reminded him as he continued to gulp down everything in a hurry as if demons were chasing him to snatch all of the food from him.

He nodded his head with a mouth filled with food but before he could smile again, he started coughing and blood came out of his mouth.

His face turned pale as he vomited all the food he had eaten but the worrying matter was blood coming out of his mouth with the food.

I stood up abruptly from my seat and started patting him. My eyes filled with panic as I looked around at the wide face of the maid who had served us our meal. Even she was looking shocked at the turn of events.

My eyes squinted as I roared at her, "who had cooked the meal? Bring her here this instant!"
