"By the way, the duchess is even going for dinner with him in his palace!"

"......." he looked stunned as if he had heard that the duchess was going to kill someone. No! I was sure even that would not have surprised him so much.

"Evan! You are a fool!" he snarled and then turned and walked out of the passage towards the carriage.

"..." what did i do now?! I looked at him with a frown but then ran to follow him.

Soon, we reached back to the carriage but this time Evan was sitting with the duchess and the only space left for me was with James who was looking dreamy. His eyes were lost and his cheeks had turned red.

"Are you having a fever?" asked the duchess as she looked at the knight with a frown surprising him. "If you are unwell then you better stay here and nurse back yourself to health. Or else we all will suffer if you make a mistake there due to your ill health.
