"It is fine, let the lady cook. She cooks better broth than you anyway. I wanted the meat cooked tenderly too!" Elvin snorted as he looked at me as if I was the worst cook.
Fuming, I looked at him with a glare. "You are talking as if the duchess had cooked food for you personally many times. Where did this confidence come from when no one even knew that the lady could cook!" I remarked and he looked stunned but instead of passing me a comment in reply. He pursued his lips and closed his eyes.
"Of course, a lady will cook better than you. I was just assuming that anyone can cook better than you!" he rolled his eyes and i snorted.
Sometimes he talked like he knew the duchess for ages!
"Both of you stop behaving like kids. We have work to do!" Though her voice was stern, amusement can be seen dancing in them and a smile that formed on her lips.
We both just nodded and walked towards the carriage with hurried footsteps and took out the ingredients.
