Arana was flustered and squeezed out a sentence, “Andy is young and she made her debut early, so she sometimes doesn’t act appropriately.”
However, the man snorted coldly, “Are you insinuating that I’m not well behaved?”
“That’s not what I meant…”
Arana felt that she was wrong to say anything, “Sorry, just pretend I said nothing. I have a big mouth.”
Then she buttoned her lips.
Terrence glanced at her coldly and astringed the chill in his eyes.
The scenery outside flied backwards. The city that was all too familiar to Arana was even more prosperous after seven years. The car drove into the city decorated by various neon lights and merged into the traffic.
Terrence dropped Arana off at the block.
Before Arana got off, he handed her a box of chocolates. Seeing she was astonished, Terrence said flatly, “not for you, it’s for Lily.”
Arana felt complicated when she held the chocolates. “Thank you for Lily, and also for sending me back today.”
