Chapter 49

In a quick restaurant not far from the Blue Castle Bilingual Primary School, the waiter brought the meal to a secluded booth in the deepest part of the restaurant, “Your two orders are complete.”

“Thanks.”

Arana pushed a single portion of chicken soup across the table, “Dad, have some soup before dinner.”

Towne’s father’s gaze was always on the children’s area in the distance. Lily is an idle person, and after sitting in the card table for a while, she got impatient and went to play, so her brother had to follow.

“Dad,” Arana hesitantly called out again, before Towne’s father snapped back to attention and withdrew his gaze.

Towne’s father said, “The food is all served, so call the children over for dinner.”

“It’s okay, Lily may not want to come even if she is called at this moment, she will naturally come back when she has had enough fun.”
