Chapter 9

Yun Sera woke up feeling sore. Her whole body aches that she couldn't even have the heart to move. Her face flushed when she remember everything.

They made love again.

She covered her face and she felt like crying. Did she satisfy him? My gosh. Yun Sera hide under the blanket and scream in embarrassment.

What if he was not satisfied. Will he find another woman to satisfy him? No, not good. What should she do?

"Sera, what's wrong?"

Jin Jinyi who was working at the bedside heard a small scream, he went to the bed worriedly and found his little wife hiding on the blanket. Jinyi get the blanket off of her and he found her face flush red again.

"Wife, what's wrong?"

"My body hurts like hell. I'm in pain and this is your fault." Sera cried. Her voice was a bit coarse. "Look, even my voice sounds weird."

Jinyi smirk and kissed her on the lips.

"Sorry, I can't help it," Jinyi said wiping the tears on her face. "You'll get used to it soon. Come here," he added and pick her up sitting her on his lap. Brushing the hair on her little face, he kissed her lips again.

That night they made love again, Jinyi always made it so that she can say no or argue with him. Unfortunately, though her body didn't feel sore than before, she was severely exhausted that she slept the whole next day. She woke up and eat dinner and sleep again. Jinyi didn't disturb her anymore because they had work the next day.

Sera keeps yawning as she taps her tiny fingers on her desk. Jinyi was out for a personal meeting with a client. He didn't bring her and now she was bored to death. The system she made was running smoothly and she had done its maintenance as soon as she got back to work.

Bored as she was, she decided to log in to her Weibo account and check her emails. She scrolled on the latest news and found that Dong ze's company fall out of the top five. Her eyes twinkled with delight, a bitter smile quickly curved on her lips.

Dong Ze's share of stocks collapse as soon as she left the company. Without her maintaining the balance of expenditure, the company was ought to make a loss. She didn't make him a system like what he made Jinyi. The system she made for Dong Ze would only recognize her and nobody could access it. While Jinyi had all the power to manipulate the system as she does.

Yun Sera log into her hacker account and hack through the system of Dong Ze's company. Since it was her that made it, hacking through it was a piece of cake. It didn't even take a couple of minutes until all his data are laid in Sera's eyes.

Tapping her fingers on the table, she felt indignant. Closing the data on her screen, she deleted her digital footprints and log out. She could not find the heart to further ruin him. Was it because she was kind?

No.

It was because the man isn't worthy of her attention anymore. Letting out a sigh, she got up on her chair and went to the pantry to check for food. She was about to enter it when her phone rang. She ran back to her table and went to answer the phone immediately.

"Don't eat yet, I'm coming back, let's eat together." Jin Jinyi's handsome voice rang through the line. Sera smiled brightly and smack her head.

"You knew?"

"I know you're hungry. It's past twelve already, so you might go to the pantry to check."

"Haha. You really know me well, hubby." she felt warm and cared for.

"Alright, I'll wait for you. Don't get too long, I'm really famished." she reminded him. She heard him laugh before the line was cut.

After five minutes or so, Jin Jinyi came back, holding two boxes of food.

Yun Sera help him with it and prepare the table for both of them.

She was too hungry and eating was bliss for her.

"I already did maintenance on the system while you were out." Sera began.

"I saw the latest ranking and you were still first. Haha. And there are a few billion spaces between you and the second." Sera laugh heartily. Feeling proud. The exponential value of shares from Jin Corp has the highest bidding scores. Compare to last year, this year's accounts were much bigger and higher.

"It's all thanks to you." Jinyi pats her head.

"Of course, who told you to marry a great person like me." Sera boasted. Tapping her chest like a kid.

"Hubby, thank you," Sera said seriously. Her voice, her eyes, and her aura became gentler.

"No need to thank me, you might as well serve me well tonight," he replied meaningfully and she blushed as soon as she understood his meaning.

Serve him tonight?

"Hubby, can I pass tonight? I'm still aching and sore all over." she tried to negotiate, acting cute.

"It depends on my mood," Jinyi said. He was about to tease her more when the door suddenly flew open.

Chen Weiwei march inside with fire shooting in her eyes.

"Who let you in?" Jinyi's gentle face turned hard. He instantly glared at the person following behind Chen Weiwei.

"Sir, we couldn't stop her."

"Jinyi, it true? Did you marry a bitch? Is she the one?" Chen Weiwei glared towards Yun Sera. If looks can kill, Yun Sera would be dead by now.

"Don't call her that."

"What? If she's not a bitch then she is a whore who climbs on his boss's bed and seduces him. Jinyi can't you see his using you? She was only after your money. Why can't you see it?" Chen Weiwei shouted.

"Miss Chen, if someone is using the other, that was me. So get lost, you were disturbing my time with my wife."

"Wife? Did you call her your wife? Did you know she was a thrash in the Yun family? Even the Yun's didn't want her. You obviously picked up thrash and you didn't mind it?"

Jin Jinyi laughs scornfully after hearing about the Yun Family. Thrash? It's their loss, not mine. Giving up a treasure and treated it like rubbish. He suddenly felt sorry for them. Why would Jin Jinyi's lawful wife trash? If Yun Sera was a thrash then those geniuses should as well die.

"Are you done? Get out!!" Jin Jinyi shouted. He points his finger at the door. Veins formed on his neck as he was trying so hard not to hit a woman.

"Call the security and drag her out. If she complains call the police," he instructed his secretary and turned towards his wife.

Yun Sera remained silent, looking at the woman being drag outside. Her eyes were solemn and dull.

"Don't mind her words, you are not a thrash."

Yun Sera smiled sweetly and shook her head.

"I'm alright. I'm used to those words," she said and resumed eating. Jinyi didn't speak any further but he could see the desolation forming in her eyes.

That night Yun Sera sleep early, finding an excuse of being tired at work. Though she said she was tired at work, Jin Jinyi knows why she suddenly felt exhausted. She was emotionally exhausted.

Jin Jinyi brushes her hair away from her beautiful face and tucks it gently at the back of her ears. His little wife was tired indeed. She fell asleep the instant she laid her body on the bed. Hearing her calm breathing, Jinyi let out a sigh.

Growing up inside the Yun family must have exhausted her emotionally. What life did you have back then? He hated the look of desolation in her eyes. He hated it as he felt suffocated every time he saw it.

What did they do to you, wife? He badly wanted to ask her. Yet he couldn't find the right words for it.

The next morning, Sera woke up a little dazed, she looked around and found Jinyi was already gone. She got up lazily and went straight to the bathroom.

She run the shower absentmindedly and took a bath. She took more or less an hour before she was done. Her skin was already cold and change her clothes.

Picking up her bag, she runs out and jogs towards the stair. She soon found Jinyi casually drinking his cup of coffee at the lounge.

"You're awake. How was your sleep?"

"Good. Are we going to work now?" she happily chatted and went to him.

"Not yet, go ahead and eat breakfast, after that we're good to go," he said patting her head.

"Oh, alright then." Sera jump and went cheerfully to the kitchen. The maids followed her, help her prepare her food.

Watching her eating happily and with gusto. Jin Jinyi sigh in relief. After she was done with her breakfast, the two of them finally set out to work.

Jin Jinyi became busy the instant they arrive at the company, from receiving phone calls, to meeting with clients. During this time, Yun Sera acted as his personal assistant, directly handling things he couldn't. She would receive the calls when he couldn't or she would entertain guests while waiting for him to finish the other one.

Today was very a hectic day, Yun Sera did her job with no fuss. Her delicate and keen talent for handling business shine. She would always do her things with cautiousness and accuracy. Only with this, Jin Jinyi was resting assured that everything's under control.

He was already done meeting his last client over lunch when he came up to his office. The meeting went good and he felt rather satisfied. Upon opening the door, he instantly found Yun Sera working on her table with great focus. She looks so serious in front of her monitor. The light coming from her computer illuminates her dainty little face, making her look too adorable.

"Still not done?" Jin Jinyi casually said as he approach her table.

Sera raised her head slowly and smile upon seeing him.

"I'm already done, I'm just checking it for the last time for errors."

Jin Jinyi pull a chair and sat beside her.

"Why don't you rest for a while. You look awfully exhausted. Have you had your lunch?" he asked brushing her hair.

"Lunch? Oh..."

Jinyi's face instantly darkened. His fingers on her hair stop stroking and went to her nose, pinching it a bit.

"Naughty girl. You forgot lunch and you were so engrossed in your work. No wonder you look awful." Jin Jinyi went back to his seat and dialed a number.

Yun Sera touch her face innocently and she looks at Jinyi puzzled. Do I really look that awful?

A while later, Li Shin entered the office with lunch boxes in his hand.

"Thank you, Brother Shin." Sera cheerfully said her thanks and open the box with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Thank you, husband. You're the best." she kissed him on the cheeks and began to dig on the food. Jinyi watch his little wife eat her food happily and he felt satisfied.

"Eat slowly, no one is gonna snatch it from you." Yun Sera stiffened and stop eating. She looks at Jinyi with wide innocent eyes. She wanted to knock her head. What was she thinking? Flabbergasted, she scratch up her head and look at the food as if she was puzzled again.

"What's wrong?" looking at her puzzled face, Jinyi got worried.

"Uhm... Husband, what were you saying again?" Sera asks, confuse.

"I only told you to eat slowly... That no one's gonna snatch it from you."

Sera nods her head and continues eating. So that was it. Why does it sound so nostalgic? Why was she eating that way anyway?

No one's gonna snatch it from her...

When she couldn't find an answer she shrugs her head and continued eating. But her tiny action and expression were all caught by Jinyi.
