You broke me first

Months passed happily, Lisa was getting ready for her school farewell party as they both completed their school. She wore a white dress that day, she looked at the mirror for a final check on her. On the flip side, Louis was also looking so handsome in his grey colour suit.

He came to Lisa's house to pick her up for the celebration. He made his way towards the same but stopped on his way when he saw Lisa standing outside the house, waiting for him to come. She noticed his figure coming in her direction. She waved at him but nothing could catch his attention from her. His mouth was wide open when he saw her beautifully dressed. Lisa also found him handsome that day. They both distracted their mind from each other and went away for the celebration.

After some time, they reached and both of them made their way to say hey to others. He couldn't take his eyes off from her because that day she was looking so pretty to be ignored by anyone. He wanted to give her a compliment for looking so beautiful but his friends didn't let him go anywhere. The situation was the same with Lisa too, she never noticed that he was that handsome but that day he caught her attention. They both were enjoying the celebration, they looked at each other in between randomly. But Lisa's attention was diverted when a girl tried to approach him by showing some dirty expression on her face, that was noticed by her. She looked at him in case he noticed that but he was so busy enjoying the party. She ignored that girl and tried to enjoy the party but when she noticed that the girl was crossing her limits. So, she yanked her hand from his shoulder which was never got any attention from him and warned her to maintain some distance from him. He was surprised by the sudden change in her behaviour. He tried to make her calm down and stopped her from making any big scene there. She pulled him away and went to grab a drink of cold water to ignore the situation. She sat on a chair while drinking water when Tessa approached her, whom she didn't see for so long and said, " You look angry?" she asked. Lisa turned her gaze towards the person and noticed that it was her. She was already frustrated by the girl that tried to play with him.

"I guess you must be feeling so lonely without your mother. right?" she asked teasingly to her.

"I forgot to tell you something about Mr Robert," she said trying to avoid her words.

Lisa didn't know what to say so, she waited for her to complete the sentence.

Thereafter she said, "I am no longer in any relationship with him. So, I guess you can have him," she paused after and waited for Lisa to say something.

Louis couldn't find Lisa so he continued his search for a few minutes but then he signed and saw her sitting on a chair while talking to a girl. He went near to her but some words stopped him in his way.

"I know that you still like Mr Robert," she said.

After some minutes of silence, he went away from there even before listening to Lisa.

"I do not like him but someone else," Lisa said and went away to find a better place for rest.

She was not enjoying the party anymore so, she thought of going back home and spend some time with Louis.

Louis noticed her coming towards him so, he thought of ignoring her and asked a random girl to dance with him. Lisa noticed him, dancing with some girl. She thought otherwise and tried to call him. But when he pulled that girl by her waist and gave her a kiss on her cheek, that made Lisa's eyes go wide. She couldn't hold the tears in her eyes and took long steps towards the exit. He noticed her getting out of there but he didn't follow her that time.

Tessa smirked because she knew about Louis's feelings towards Lisa were more than just a best friend. So, she thought of doing something that seemed interesting to her only.

Lisa was walking on the street, tears flowing down from her cheeks continuously. She didn't pay any attention to what was happening in her surrounding, she continued to walk till she reached home. She was feeling hurt by Louis's actions that day. She thought that their feelings for each other were mutual but not anymore when she saw him kissing a random girl. She reached her home, all broken from inside. She opened the door and went near to her mother's figure in the kitchen. She hugged her and cried. Her mother got worried about her but before asking about what happened, she made her calm down.

"What happened?" her mother asked.

After a few minutes, she broke the hug and looked into her mother's eyes straight.

"You knew I liked him but today he kissed some other girl in front of me," she said in a cracked voice while some tears made their way down her cheeks. Her mother wiped them off and thought, "He would never do that because he always liked Lisa." She was disturbed by Lisa's sobs.

"He would never do that Lisa," she said trying to convince her but she knew what she saw there.

"But he did mom, right in front of my eyes," she said and hugged her mother back.

Her mother couldn't see her like that and think of doing something.

On the other hand, Louis pulled that girl away from him when he saw Lisa getting out of there. He didn't want to do that but he couldn't bear the fact that she still liked Mr Robert even when she told him that she didn't feel anything about him. He was hurt too.

They both thought otherwise of the whole situation but still didn't dare to ask each other about their emotions.
