Jian Sheng boarded the plane and looked for his seat. His seat was a window seat. His seatmates were already seated when he got there. It was a little girl with a young lady who looks too young to be the little girl's mother.

The little girl has big brown eyes, a cute nose, and a small mouth. Her short hair was tied into small twin pigtails. She looked cute wearing a white flora sundress made for children. She was smiling while watching an animation of a girl with the power of the moon on a tablet.

The young lady was wearing a black frame spectacle, so Jian Sheng was not able to see her eyes properly without staring too much. She had a straight fridge and her long hair was tied up into a ponytail. She was wearing a plain black t-shirt and jeans. But that did not hide her good figure. If someone said she was an idol or an actress, he would have believed them.

'She's pretty. Probably the little girl's sister or relative.' Jian Sheng thought while putting his bag into the overhead storage. A panel appeared when he looked at the two girls more closely.

'Both their family names are Xue. So they should be related. Still a university student huh? She's probably a campus belle or something. The remark on her though…'

Jian Sheng closed the overhead storage and saw that the young lady named Xue Tian Xin was looking at him. He smiled and was about to ask for some space to his seat when she suddenly asked in a clear voice, "Hello, are you the passenger by the window seat?"

Jian Sheng felt that her voice was like the cheese on top of pizza and syrup on pancakes. It was so sweet and captivating he thought she has the most angelic voice he has ever heard.

Well, this is coming from a person who had never been in a relationship for the last 24 years of his life and have lived like a shut-in for the last 1 year.

Fortunately, Jian Sheng came back to his senses soon enough to avoid being seen as a creep by the pretty young lady.

"Yes. That's my seat." Jian Sheng said with a polite smile on his face.

"Could you change seats with me please? This little girl wants the window seat but it was all booked when I was buying the plane ticket." The young lady asked with a helpless smile on her beautiful face.

'What the heck?! She's so beautiful. Why is she single?! Do I have a chance?'

"Sure. No problem. I wouldn't be looking out the window anyway." Jian Sheng said with a smile. Then he turned to the little girl who was looking at them conversing. "Go ahead, little girl."

The little girl showed a sweet smile and said "Thank you, uncle.".

'That's right, the girl is 7, I'm 24, there's a 17-year difference. I really am an uncle to her. Sobs..'

Jian Sheng smiled awkwardly and got seated. He looked at the young lady and reached out his hand. "Hi, my name is Jian Sheng."

The young lady reached out and shook his hand while introducing herself. "Hello, my name is Tian Xin and this little one is my sister, Wen Jing. Are you heading to Country C for a vacation?"

Jian Sheng thought about it and the mission could be considered a vacation. But there might also be a new mission when he reached there. He thought a bit and said, "No, I'm going there because there is something I need to do there."

Tian Xin looked at him and said "You're a businessman?"

Jian Sheng shook his head. "No, I'm just going there to do some stuff. What about you two?"

Tian Xin looked at the little girl while replying to Jian Sheng, "It was the school holiday for her. So I took her out to get some fresh air and travel to a few places before going home."

Jian Sheng who knew they ran away from home just nodded and didn't say anything about it. He just smiled at her and said "I hope you two have an enjoyable trip and have a safe journey home."

Tian Xin nodded and started talking to Wen Jing while watching the animation with her.

They put on their seatbelts as the lights for the seatbelt above their head has lit up.

Jian Sheng turned to face the front and look at the panel in front of him. It was a mission panel.

Duration of Mission: Until they leave Country C

Reward: A favour from the Xue Family of Hua Country

Jian Sheng thought about it. He felt that he should not risk it since he was not even close with them. Sure, Tian Xin is beautiful but how can he look at the beautiful lady if he's dead.

Besides, Jian Sheng felt this phrase could be used in this kind of situation. 'Other people's business are their business. Whether it be fame or fortune, despair or death, it all comes down to their own fate. You can't even change your own fate so why bother changing others.'

Jian Sheng remembered this phrase but could not recall where he heard it from. Maybe it was that useless system.

He moved his finger and was about to press 'Decline' when the system suddenly interrupted.

[Host, are you sure you want to decline? It might be more beneficial if you cleared this mission in the long run.]

The system sounded more serious than it usually was. It had never sounded so serious before.

"I don't even know what I'm about to face with my own mission, how could I save the both of them as well? I'm not some righteous superhero and this is not a comic or novel where I get plot armour or something like that. It's too much for me to handle." Jian Sheng felt sorry for them but he could not help them when he did not know what would happen to him in Country C.

[Well, since this is an optional mission, the host can decline it but are you sure you want to?]

"Is it so serious that you want to make me accept it?" Jian Sheng was curious why the system would want him to accept this mission so desperately.

[If you accept the mission, then I will tell you what their endings will be if you fail or decline this mission.]

"But I still feel that I don't have the power to save them. I'm just a normal person with a system. So…."

Jian Sheng slowly raised his hand and pressed the button.
