Chapter 6

Time passed and it had already been six months since Takuya joined the academy.

" Ara.. who is that senior sitting alone under that tree? "

" I dont know. Does anybody recognize him?"

" His looks are average but I dont why I cant help but feel attracted to him."

" Agreed!"

"Agreed!"

Seven girls were crowded near the Zanjutsu dojo and chatted with each other. All of them were students who just passed the entrance exam yesterday so it was normal that they did not recognize the young man sitting under the tree near the dojo with an asauchi on his lap.

But in fact except new students, there was hardly anybody who did not recognize him in the academy.

At first when Takuya joined the academy , he was just famous for the matter of recommendation but now everyone recognized his strength.

In just six months, Takuya has surpassed even sixth year students in the mastery of Zanjutsu , Shunpo and Hakuda.

In the eyes of teachers , it would not take long for Takuya to master all the basic level kido spells which ranged from 1 to 30.

You have to know that this learning speed was very fast even among the strongest geniuses in the history of the academy.

But most of those past geniuses had some basic knowledge of the subjects before entering the academy while Takuya had to start from the basics.

So it could be said that he was even better than them.

On the other hand , Takuya did not think that he was such an exaggerated genius. After all he knew that there were figures with monster level talent like Aizen and Hitsugaya Toshiro.

In fact Takuya was only able to progress so much because he spent most of his time training hard.

Learning theory was not difficult for him because after understanding the basics but Takuya discoverd a problem that he could not put the theory to practice smoothly like the students of noble families who seemed to have better talent and basic knowledge.

That's why until know Takuya was barely able to learn two basic kido spells. Fortunately his reiatsu was strong and the amount was big so Takuya forcefully mastered those two spells by practicing them back to back for hundreds of times. So their power was strong which ststidied Takuya very much.

After all even two spells could save him during critical times if used at correct timing.

They were -

Hado 4 - Byakurai

Hado 31 - Shakkaho

Takuya could use some more bakudo and Hado but their power was still very limited. It would take long practice time before he could bring out their full power in future.

For Zanjutsu , Shunpo and Hakuda, Takuya discovered that his progress was very limited if he just practiced alone.

For the solution to this problem , Takuya decided that only actual combat could help him because he only serious spars or battles could help him turn these skills into instinct.

Takuya knew the basic theory so he could gradually improve his mastery over these skills by digesting the battle experience and improving them according to the insights gained.

Sure enough this method worked wonders. Takuya sparred with his seniors and improved quickly.

In just one month after starting practicing , he was able to defeat all the seniors and had no choice but to shift sparing partners with teachers of the academy.

Even if Takuya lowered his reiatsu to match with the seniors , a gap still remained because Takuya had wealth of life and death combat experience already plus his reiatsu sensitivity and five senses were many times better than them.

The students did not have the combat experience to close such a gap. So only teachers could serve as Takuya's sparing partners as they had lived for decades or even more than a century. Naturally the number of battles and spars they had experienced could not be compared to Takuya.

Now after whole six months in the academy , Takuya was stronger than all the teachers except Fukuda sensei and the principal.

Teachers may still posses greater mastery over the skills but with constant increase of reiatsu, Takuya's physique was better than them so he could still defeat them with the advantage of his better physical and five senses.

Even now just sitting under the shade of a tree , it may look like Takuya was just resting or trying Jizen but in fact he was constantly absorbing reiatsu with the help of his system.

Even though academy students had less amount of reiatsu, Takuya's gain was still very large. After all he spared with someone at least thrice a day so the pick up rate of reiatsu was very high during that time.

Besides many academy students practiced their skills all the time so the pick up rate was very good. Takuya just had to find some place where seniors were practicing and sit hundreds of meters away from them while his system would continue to pick up reiatsu.

It had to be mentioned that training was also one of the ways to temper and increase reiatsu amount at a good speed especially if the potential was great.

Thus Takuya who trained and sparred all the time , had contributed in increasing his reiatsu to great extent along with the system's help.

Right now his reiatsu level had already reached almost peak vice captain level. Honestly this speed was too fast and Takuya was more than satisfied.

Why wont he?

After all there were few captain level shinigami and most of them took decades or even more time to reach their current level.

Takuya just took less one and half year and was soon going to reach their level and he had not even awakened shikai yet much less bankai.

Captains had broken their upper limits at least two times after awakening shikai and bankai and finally reached captain level reiatsu. Takuya was blessed as his system helped him extremely fast progress in this regard and he did not even have to worry about reaching upper limit.

Slowly Takuya opened his eyes when he felt a huge reiatsu signature approaching from the gate and it was very erratic and not refined at all.

Takuya smiled as he felt the rapid increase in pick up rate of reiatsu. He actualy sat here for the purpose of watching the owner of this reiatsu.

After all he was Hitsugaya Toshiro! Future captain of 10th division and the great genius who took few years to master bankai after graduating from academy in just one year.

Takuya had heard the news that he was one of the new students and could not help but want to see him.

Naturaly Takuya was curious about this genius but he did not care much about making friends with him. That can be done in future.

Takuya was more obsessed with the thought that he could increase the reiatsu pick up rate radically for a while until Toshiro learned to control his reiatsu.

" Sure enough, he is a monster.. Already more reistsu than general 3rd seat. " Takuya whispered in a low voice and could not help but feel great in his heart.

Who cares about Toshiro's insane potential. Takuya just wanted to get the benifit until he can. Now Takuya just wanted to become permanent sparring partners with this white haired shorty so that he can use him as a battery for fast rate of picking up reiatsu all the time!!
