Attracted To Men

After breakfast, Draco and Riley left the hotel and started the drive back home.

Draco tried to maintain a conversation throughout the way.

However, Riley was a bit distracted. Later, he pretended to fall asleep. He just wanted a moment to sort out his feelings and thoughts.

Though Riley was innocent and inexperienced, he was not totally clueless as not to notice his bizarre reactions to Draco.

He had admired and respected Draco for a long time. To Riley, he was his savior. The man who helped him at his darkest moment.

So, it was not surprising at all to say that he revered the man, always striving to please him.

In Riley's eyes, Draco Sy can do no wrong.

But to fancy growing feelings beyond admiration, Riley knows it would be futile.

Draco Sy is a very extraordinary man. At his age, the man had already accomplished great feats to reign over others. And he's expected to achieve more.

He is like the highest summit. Only an equally outstanding person would be fit to conquer him.

And Riley had to humbly acknowledge he was not worthy enough to aim for such a man. Besides, his knowing and meeting Draco Sy was already a blessing. He would be forever grateful and vowed to assist the man in this lifetime.

Having accepted all that, Riley felt serene.

They arrived at the mansion around 10:00 AM.

On the driveway, Riley immediately saw an unfamiliar car parked in front of the house. "You have a visitor." He said to Draco.

Unperturbed, Draco just hummed. He did not show any sign that he recognized the car or its owner, so Riley did not comment anymore. He got out of the vehicle as soon as the engine stopped. But the boy waited for Draco before going inside the house together.

Riley soon heard voices as they neared the huge living room. It was Uncle Oliver.

"Madam, Boss Draco's almost here. Kindly wait a moment."

Someone had yet to notice their presence. Standing at the entryway, Riley saw Uncle Oliver talking to two individuals.

One of the visitors was slightly blocked by Uncle Oliver's frame. And Riley did not get to see the person's face.

On the other hand, he has a clear view of the female guest. In Riley's guess, the woman was around her 50s. Yet she looked younger than her age and very elegantly dressed. She has a timeless beauty.

However, at the moment, the stunning face was contorted in rage. Anyone present could see the lady was pretty mad. More so after hearing the sharp and cutting words coming out of her mouth.

"Wait?! Haven't I been sitting here waiting all morning? Your master never changed! Very disrespectful of his elders! Just because he is now CEO, he had the gall to make me wait for hours! His aunt?! Atrocious manners!"

Riley flinched from the biting words. He immediately peered at Draco, feeling embarrassed for him. He once heard from Dylan that Draco did not have a good relationship with his family. Particularly with the elder members who have been fighting for dominance and the right to inherit the Sy Empire. They despise him.

Unfortunately for them, Draco, even without the support of his absent parents and who was of the later generation, rose above everyone else to take the position of head and CEO of Sy Business Empire. Much to everyone's dismay.

It drew a lot of hatred and jealousy toward Draco. Including assassination attempts from all sides.

Riley was made aware of this fact after Dylan told him the truth of what happened two years ago after they arrived at L Country. Out of guilt, Dylan confessed that if not for Draco's interference, they would have left Riley dead that night. Because it was during those times that Draco's life was full of danger. Almost every day, hired assassins were out to kill him.

Noticing the sneaky glances the boy was giving him, Draco moved his head closer to Riley's, amused. Then in a very low voice only the both of them can hear, he asked, "Why are you sneaking glances at me, Little Riley?"

Caught, Riley wanted to deny it but then detected the teasing tone from Draco. It appears Draco was already used to hearing hurtful words from his kin. He looked unconcerned.

Moving closer, in a conspiratorial smile, Riley responded, "Your aunt doesn't seem to like you, Draco. What misdeed have you done before to make her this prejudiced against you?"

Not taking offense, Draco did not give a direct answer and instead asked, "And you believe what she is saying about me?" His voice was still mild, yet his eyes were unreadable. Emotionless.

Unperturbed, Riley quickly answered, "No." Then to Draco's great pleasure, he said, "I will only believe what you say." As emphasis, the boy nodded his head several times, looking straight and unblinking at Draco.

Draco's lips curled as he quipped, "Thank you for your blind trust, Little Riley."

Riley wanted to protest and would have blurted it's not blind trust. But he did not get a chance. Draco swiftly brought his finger over Riley's lips to stop his words.

"Shush! I know, Little Riley. You have complete trust in me. You don't have to say more." Draco announced, then stroked Riley's head.

Though Draco managed to stop Riley's words, his movements finally caught the attention of the people in the living room.

And they were perplexed at the picture.

In everyone's eyes present, they saw the cold as ice King Frost, Draco Sy, bending over, looking gently at and caressing a pretty boy. Their faces were only centimeters apart. It was very, very ambiguous.

To anyone with a dirty and twisted mind, like Draco's aunt, she would immediately assume the worst, which was the case. With derision, Draco's aunt chided, "You finally had the decency to appear after how many hours!" And with the slut she thought. Aramentha Sy sneered in her heart.

So, that bit of news circulating within the clan of Draco keeping young fresh meat was indeed true. And it's a boy at that.

All those years of planting alluring women around the cold devil were all for naught because his nephew was actually more attracted to men. She should have known.

Aramentha's eyes narrowed. Then again, she did try to send men to entice Draco, but every single one failed. So, what's different about this boy?

Draco hated dealing with his so-called relatives. He ignored his aunt, his eyes still on Riley. "Little Riley, you go and change. Be down for lunch later, alright? I'll ask Oliver to send some snacks first. I noticed you did not eat much this morning."

Reluctantly, Riley nodded. His eyes peeked at Draco's aunt, then worriedly back to him.

Feeling touched by the boy's apparent concern, Draco patted him on the head before saying, "Don't worry. It's fine. Go."

"Alright. See you later."

Riley turned to head to the stairs.

As he climbed the stairs, however, he felt a very intense stare. He couldn't shake the feeling, so he looked back. And his eyes instantly crossed with onyx-black orbs. They were phoenix-shaped, sharp, and fierce. And long with it was a face so captivatingly beautiful.

Riley was stunned for a minute until the owner of the face scoffed at him and haughtily glanced away.

Innocent Riley, "…"
