Sakura complained, annoyed by the mission that they just completed

"Can't you just stop complaining Sakura? It's already annoying enough to have to do D-ranked missions but with your complaints, It's unbearably annoying"

Naruto's patience is almost depleted, At first he laughed at Sasuke and Sakura's reaction to D-ranked missions, but after a while it got really annoying...

"Shut it dobe, i thought that you would be the first one to complain about how boring these D-rank missions were"

Sasuke said, as if trying to annoy Naruto even more... or to defend Sakura, but the latter is impossible... right?

It's already been almost a month since team 7 was formed, during this time a lot happened, Naruto kept annoying Sakura and Sasuke every chance he got, Sakura lost some of her fangirl tendencies, still infatuated with Sasuke, but less annoying nonetheless, Sasuke opened up to the team, he now sees them as true friends, he keeps competing with Naruto in everything, something which amused Naruto a lot during this month. Naruto also caught Sasuke stealing glances at Sakura from time to time wich made him think

'maybe he always liked her, and now that she is a little less anoying he actually started to see it'

Sakura lost most of her fangirl tendencies after Naruto teased her so much about it that she almost cried.

thats not all that changed during this month, Naruto mastered a lot of jutsus with Kakashi's help,Kakashi who actually started to train seriously, it seems that losing the bells to a bunch of gennin made him see how rusty he was, Naruto also managed to learn the rasengan during this time,if the hokage asks were he learned it he will say that was during the Mizuki inccident as there is a copy of the rasengan writen on the scroll of seals, his proeficiency with his chains also reached a level that he can use them in combat, now he is working on using his rasengan with his chains, something he found really hard to do as chakra gets really hard to control the longer the chain is, because of this his chakra control is getting better every day, he also started tryng to walk on the waterfall on the cave, he finished walking on hot water a week ago, and upped his weights again.

Kakashi didn't only train Naruto, during this month he taught Sakura some basic genjutsus, which she will probably even forget that she has, and some basic fire style and lighting style jutsus to Sasuke after testing his affinities, but he did not taught Sakura any jutsu, her chakra reserves are pathetically low, Naruto once commented about Sakura being dumb and doing a diet to try to charm someone and after hearing this, Kakashi scolded Sakura so hard, that her ears bleed. But that is for the best, She needed a reality check afterall.

Naruto had Kakashi help him customize his flicker, now every time Naruto flickers he leaves behind a trail of lighting that can shock people, so if he dodges with his flicker, shock. Not very pratical for stealth, but that is not his aim anyway.

"Alpha in position, are you guys ready?" asks Sasuke while eyeing their target

"Beta ready, is the target identity confirmed?" Sakura answers with another question

"Delta in position, the target description matches perfectly" Kakashi answers

"Omega ready, in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... GO!" Naruto shouts

As soon as rhe shout ends, all of them encircled their target, who eyed them as if they were no threat, something below 'him'.

Naruto jumps at the target, his chains shot out of his back trying to tie the target down, but with extreme dexterity 'he' dodges all of them.

Sakura tries to put 'him' in a genjutsu, but it is not effective

"damn it" she says in annoyance

Sasuke uses his speed to try to take their target by surprise, but again 'he' dodges but while in mid-air Naruto's chains envelops 'him', they all sigh in relief.

"D-ranked mission, capture the cat Tora: Completed" says Kakashi while thinking

'this cat was also a thing during my time as a gennin, is he immortal or what?'

"this cat is better that most gennins from the village, how is this even possible?" incredulously asks Naruto

"haaah, it even broke my genjutsu instantly" Sakura says dejected

"Hn, this cat is better than some of the nekomatas (ninja cats) that i saw before" mutters Sasuke

"lets give him back to the client before he escapes again" Kakashi says, breaking them out of their thoughs

"if i was this cat i would also try to run away every chance i got, poor thing" Naruto says while seeing the cat almost dying in a bear hug from the daimyo's wife.

"Yeah, me too" Sakura

"Hn" Sasuke nods

after the daimyo's wife gets out, Kakashi speaks up

"Hokage-sama i think that team 7 is ready to get a c-ranked mission already"

"Are you sure Kakashi?" the hokage also thinks that they are ready but rules are rules

"yes hokage-sama, i think they are ready. their teamwork is really good, their personal strength is also almost on par with some chunnins from the village" 'Except Sakura but i can't say that, can i?'

"Very well, send someone to fetch Tazuna here" the hokage speaks to one of his ANBU'S

Minutes latter a grey-haired, bespectacled man with a large beard and dark eyes, wearing a sleeveless v-neck shirt with an obi, pants and a pair of sandals, carrying a towel around his neck and wearing a pointed hat on his head.

enters the room, the rest goes just like cannon exept the part were Tazuna insults Naruto.

"okay team 7 meet me in the village's gate in 1 hour, prepare everything that you think you will need for one week to one month outside the village. dismissed" Kakashi also flickers away after saying that.

Before going to the gate Naruto approaches his mother's grave and speaks

"hey mom, im going on my first mission outside of the village today, so i will not be able to take care of your grave for some days, sorry about that..."

"What are you doing here kid?" A voice asks Naruto

"I am visiting my mother's grave, And you are?" Naruto is really confused, the presumably man, who asked him had a mask hiding his face and only his right eye showing.

"You can call me Obi, i am also here to visit the grave of someone important to me..."

"Oh, sorry for your loss" Naruto says, he feels guilty for making the man remember someone who died.

"thanks, but you don't need to worry, i would remember her even if you didn't ask" Obi says

"That's the only way right? you can never forget someone who died, you only get used to the feeling of loss..." Naruto says while looking at his mother's grave.

"That is very mature for someone your age, kid"

"thanks... I need to go, my teammates will be mad if i am late, bye!" Naruto says while walking away.

"Not forgetting, just getting used to the loss? That's at least better than what i was doing before..." Muttered Obi as his body disappeared in a swirling vortex.

"What took you so long dobe?" Sasuke asks with slightly annoyance in his voice

"Sorry i had to visit my mother's grave before going out of the village" Naruto answers with a awkward smile.

"...sorry" Sasuke seems a little unconfortable with this conversation

"Don't be, she would like me to go foward with my life instead of being sad about her death anyways, i just had to pay my respects"

Sasuke seems deep in thoghts after this.

after a while Kakashi and Tazuna appeared, they immeadiately departed after that.

The entire way didn't have any problems until Naruto saw 2 puddle of water in the ground

'Are these two trying to get found out?'

[Maybe they are just dumb...]

'well they could, but THIS dumb is a little too much, no?'

"Sensei, wouldn't it be nice if we could fight some ninjas in this mission?"

All of team 7 got what Naruto was talking about but didn't shown it outside

"it really would right? but how many would you fight?" Kakashi 'jokingly' asks back

"1 or 2. it would be even better if they were chunnin level" Kakashi nods while preparing for the ambush

after they walk past the 2 puddles, 2 figures shot out of them, the two of them were connected by a chain of shurikens, Naruto immediately shots 2 chains from his back easily tying up the two demon brothers.

Kakashi put some chakra suppresing seals on them and ties them up with some ropes. he sends one of his summoning dogs to inform the hokage.

"Now then Tazuna-san, i think you have something to tell us about, dont you?"

After Tazuna finishes his discussion with Kakashi, team 7 dicided to continue their mission, while Naruto thinks how to handle what is gonna happen next.
