Escort mission to Taki part 2

There was no other disturbance for the rest of the night and early in the morning they packed up and continued on their way to Taki. As they reached a waterfall Shibuki made some hands and the waterfall parted and there was a system of caves leading into what was the village hidden in the waterfall. Shibuki started bragging about how no one could find Taki without knowing the exact route or they would be lost in the system of caves which had deadly traps on all paths except the correct one. Naruto personally felt that it was an exaggeration as a skilled sensor like him or someone from the Suzumori clan of Iwa or an Aburame could easily find out the location of Taki as there was no way to hide an entire hidden village but Naruto didn't bother to correct Shibuki's faulty assumptions. Some Taki ninjas appeared at the entrance of the cave system and tied black clothes around their eyes and led them down the correct passageway to Taki but Naruto memorized the route even though his eyes were closed using his sensory technique ( the mind's eye of the kagura.)

Taki was roughly the same size of Konoha with maybe half of the ninja strength. There was a huge tree at the centre of Taki which Shibuki explained to the Konoha ninja was a gift from the First Hokage and was the source of the chakra paper which Taki was famous for. Kurenai's team were lead to Shibuki's office where they received the payment for the escort and protection mission when suddenly a Taki genin burst into Shibuki's office and informed about a toxic waste spill into the Taki water storage facility and that the available manpower was not enough for containing the problem so Shibuki after thinking for a few seconds asked Kurenai's team to assist them as a C rank mission and Kurenai sensei agreed.

As Kurenai's team headed to the storage facility they were escorted by a genin with green hair and what looked like a tattoo of wings on her back. The genin introduced herself as Fu and had a weird habit of referring to herself in the third person but turned out to be a genuinely nice person. After reaching the toxic spill site Naruto started healing the affected people as much as he could using the Mystical palm jutsu and then used his water manipulation to separate the toxic spill from the water using his perfect control over his water affinity. Shibuki thanked them for a job well done and asked them stay for a day as his guests.

Naruto spent the rest of the day wandering around Taki and taking in the sites while Kurenai sensei and the girls were resting in their rooms. While roaming around Taki Naruto came across Fu in a clearing near the outskirts of Taki climbing up a tree which looked it had a house on top of it.

Fu was returning to her home in the outskirts of Taki when she heard someone calling out her name but she didn't respond as she assumed that it was one of the villagers coming to harrass her but as the voice kept calling her repeatedly she turned around to find that it was Naruto the cute Konoha shinobi she had met that morning. She came down the tree and greeted him and in answer to his question replied that she lived in the house on the tree. During her conversation with Naruto Fu found out that Naruto was also an orphan like her and was enjoying her conversation with him as there was no one Taki except Shibuki who talked to her nicely or even treated her like a person. Fu was shocked when Naruto suddenly asked her if she was the Jinchuriki of the Nanabi and while she was panicking about how a foreign ninja could know that and was feeling sad that now Naruto also would shun her she was surprised when Naruto placed a hand on her shoulder and informed her that he was a highly skilled sensor and that was how he had found out about her being a Jinchuriki and assured her that he did not have any problem with that as he himself was the Jinchuriki of the kyuubi. Fu kept conversing with Naruto late into the evening after inviting him into her treehouse. Just as Naruto said his goodbye to Fu and was about to return to his room when they heard an intense explosion near the centre of Taki near the big tree of the shodai. Naruto and Fu immediately raced towards the explosion and upon reaching there Naruto created ten shadow clones and sent them to retrieve injured people and heal them as best as they could. Naruto clapped his hands and threw them forward using the Futon: gale palm jutsu, creating a sharp gust of wind blowing away the dust from the explosion revealing what looked like Five ninja with slightly higher chakra levels than chunin wearing a headband which looked like a musical note which led Naruto to realize that these people worked for Orochimaru. Just as Naruto realized this Shibuki arrived and he seemed to recognize the shinobi leading these five ninjas and called him as Suiren who was apparently a rogue Taki shinobi who was declared as a traitor after he turned rogue after failing to execute a coup against Shibuki. Suiren sent three of his subordinates to fight Shibuki as he along with another shinobi went rushing somewhere. Naruto and Fu intercepted the three enemy shinobi and asked Shibuki to go after Suiren which he agreed to and took off in pursuit. Naruto unsealed his katana and channeled wind chakra into it and suddenly vanished from the sight of his enemies and appeared behind one of them and decapitated him but suddenly found himself impaled on the sword of another shinobi but Naruto burst into smoke revealing that he was just a clone and the shinobi who impaled the Naruto clone suddenly found himself with his throat slit by the original Naruto who appeared behind him. Meanwhile Fu had used her wings and immense strength granted to her by virtue of being the Jinchuriki of the Nanabi and crushed the ribcage of the remaining shinobi by flying out of the reach of his water jutsu and then suddenly descending at full speed and crushing his ribcage with her super strength.

After taking care of the three enemy shinobi Naruto used his sensory jutsu to find Shibuki and raced off to assist him and on reaching his location found that one of the enemy shinobi was dead but unfortunately Suiren whose strength and speed seemed to have increased drastically kept pummeling Shibuki. Naruto released his resistance seals and suddenly appeared in front of Shibuki blocking Suirn's blow with his hand and kicked him in the stomach with his knee using Tsunade's super strength and he blasted back from the force of Naruto's blow and then Suiren made handsigns for the water dragon jutsu which he launched at Naruto who immediately raised an earth wall around himself which became mud after being hit by the water dragon. Naruto made a single handseal and softly intoned, Doton: Mud dragon jutsu shaping the mud wall into a dragon and launching it at Suiren who barely Dodged it but it did graze his side breaking two of his ribs. Just as Suiren dodged a hail of kunai Naruto threw at him Naruto suddenly appeared behind him by replacing one of the kunai with himself and piercing his heart with a wind enhanced kunai killing him instantly. Naruto after killing Suiren reactivated his resistance seals and assisted Shibuki who was beaten black and blue by Suiren. Shibuki answered Naruto's question about the sudden increase in Suiren's chakra and speed by explaining the properties of The Hero's water which was produced from the chakra tree in Taki saying that it temporarily increased your speed and Chakra levels but placed a terrible staring on the users body therefore it was a Village secret. Shibuki mentioned that Suiren ws boasting about Orochimaru sending them on a mission to procure a sample of the Hero's water for him.

After all the excitement had died down Naruto returned to his room and finding Kurenai sensei and the girls waiting for him in his room, and immediately upon seeing him they berated him for always managing to find trouble somehow and after hugging Naruto and making sure he was unharmed they returned back to their rooms. Early next morning Kurenai's team met Shibuki who gave Naruto the bounty placed on Suiren's head and thanked them for their help. Naruto sent a clone to find Fu and say his goodbye to her. Fu was said to see one of the only persons to treat her like a friend leave but was surprised when Naruto gave her a kunai with a seal engraved on it which he explained could be used by her to summon him if she was in any danger. Fu who rarely received anything was overjoyed at the gift and hugged Naruto and kissed him on the cheek and immediately running away on realising what she did leaving behind a red faced Naruto clone sputtering in shock.
