CHAPTER 6

Next day at school, As everyone was going about their usual routine. During their math class Jessica's home room teacher enters the class excusing himself saying that he has an announcement to make " I know this does not happen often in the middle of the school year but we have a new student " on cue Zayn enters "So new student please introduce yourself to the class" says the teacher "Hi I am Zayn, just Zayn" he smiles at the class which makes all the girls swoon. The teacher just blinks " and something about yourself" he urges him to continue , meanwhile Zayn finds Jesse in the class " I have moved here for a special reason" he tells all the while staring at Jessica. "Okay everyone, I hope you all will help your new friend to adjust, and Mr Zayn I expect you to be on your best behaviour, please find a seat, Have a good day" he excuses himself and leaves.

Zayn finds a seat behind Jesse's , he pokes her shoulder "Hi, you look like a zombie" he chuckles, Jesse rolls her eyes " Well thanks to someone we were playing board games till 4 in the morning" she points out.

"Hey it's not my fault that you were bad at the game" he pouts "yeah yeah whatever, now concentrate in the class , you are already behind in the course and this is important for the tests coming up. This test scores are going to decide your and the glimpse of your future" Jesse hits his head with the math text book. " ouch, but the my future is sitting right in front of me" Zayn states, redness fill Jessica's cheeks ' what do you mean by that?" she asks him " you will know when the time comes" "But what" Jesse's sentence is cut off by the bell.

"Okay I'll see you after lunch" and just like that he takes off " But we have literature now" Jesse laughs at Zayn when she see him coming back to the class with a gloomy face. "Why dint you stop from, I'm disappointed" he shakes his head, "Oh by the way Adrian is in this class, I guess you wanted to meet him before the party tonight, i can introduce you to him now if you want." suggests Jesse.

" I would really like that , I'm his competition anyways" he winks at her.

Jesse rolls her eyes "Adrian over here, why don't you sit with us for today's class" she calls out to Adrian as he was heading towards his usual seat, Adrian could not believe his ears that Jesse suggested that he sits with her was he dreaming? ,he pinches himself just to make sure that he was not.

All his happiness disappears once he gets closer to Jesse there was already someone there talking to her.

"Hey Jesse, Hey I don't think we have ever met?" Adrian puts his hand out for a handshake in front of Zayn.

"That's because we have'nt met , By the way I'm Zayn Robert's cousin" and shakes Adrian's hand.

"Is Robert back?" Adrian questions looking at Jesse , "Yeah seems like it, the class is about to start so take a seat" she tells him and sits in her seat, as Adrian is about to sit beside her Zayn beats him to it , Adrian huffing sits beside Zayn.

Adrian couldnt concentrate in the class at all as he was busy observing Jesse who did not even spare him a glance during the class but was talking to Zayn during the glass, she even giggled at him.

After the class Adrian gets up to leave "Okay Jesse see you at the party tomorrow, Zayn tell Robert to come and you also can join, if you want to" he tells Jesse and nods towards Zayn, who in question looks startled because of the sudden invitation, "Well I was anyway going to come as Jesse's plus one, but thanks for the invite, I'll tell Robert about it dont worry." Zayn replies "by the way i dint see Ray today in school? did he not come?" He asks Jesse, to which she laughs and "Yea he did not come he Jenny and Robert could not wake up in the morning, I am myself shocked that Zayn made it to school today" "What do you mean?" aske a puzzled Adrian "Oh Zayn and Robert stayed at my place last night, so we were up till 4 talking and playing board games" explained Jesse. "Oh I see, anyway I got to go now, bye" and he leaves the class " yeah bye "Jesse shouts at Adrian's retreating back, And looks around for Zayn , who seems to be observing the wall as it was the most fascinating thing in the world. Jesse gets a evil plan in her mind , so she tiptoes to where Zayn was standing, trying to give him a fright instead she gets a fright as Zayn suddenly turns around facing her.

"Sweetheart you have to be a lot quieter if you want to scare someone" he winks at her and leaves the room

"Let's go together wait" Jesse runs along , as a shadow seems to disappear from the wall which Jesse did not notice.

Meanwhile Zayn was busy trying to communicate with a shadow that had been following Adrian around.

"He should have made her fall for him, by now. Now it's too late, and I will not be backing down" he whispers to the shadow "but he is important for her to claim her place" shadow whispers, " I know and that is why I have not made any move" he whispers back " okay she is coming here now, we have not finished discussing this My Lord".
