CHAPTER 7

After school, Jesse decided to introduce Zayn to Nancy Because Zayn had to go to at her place as Robert was still at her place and both the cousins had planned to go together to sort their place after school, and Zayn being new did not have many friends in school, so Jesse thought that Zayn could just carpool with her and Nancy as they were heading to her house, and when she spots Nancy and she pulls Zayn along towards Nancy, she goes on to introduce them "Nancy that's Zayn and "Hi Zayn, I'm Nancy Jesse's better half, I heard a lot about you from Jenny, she is been blowing up my phone ever since" Nancy cuts off Jesse's sentence and rambles on, Zayn scratches his head awkwardly "All good things I hope" "Yeah all good things I promise" she looks at Jesse who is really quiet, "well this is new, Zayn so where did you stay before coming here?, how do you like our school? what was your reason to shift here out of everywhere else" Nancy asks him all at once, " wow that's a lot of questions, I actually am from the next town, I have come here just to give company to someone special" he answers chuckling. "Jesse what are you thinking about?" Nancy asks her suddenly "Nothing special" Jesse waves her off. Zayn and Jesse get out the car as they reach Millers Residence, "Wait" Nancy calls out, making both Jesse and Zayn to turn towards her, "You go ahead" Jesse tells Zayn and walks back towards Nancy.

"What's wrong Jesse I know something's up you did not even join the conversation in the car" she questions, "I don't know Nancy, I'm just so confused " "about what" "About my feelings, It's just been a day since I met Zayn, but I feel like I have known him for longer than that and I don't know I feel a very strong connection with him and I feel safe around him, I don't even know the guy, I have these weird butterflies in my tummy when he talks to or gives me his attention, I was really jealous back in the car , you guys were just talking, I thought I was in love with Adrian, I did not even feel bad today when Adrian was talking to the girls, I feel all my feelings have just disappeared in to thin air" Jesse throws her hands up. "See Zayn is quite the looker, if I say so myself, he gives you attention Jesse even when you don't notice during the ride he surely was talking to me but you had all of his attention, He can't seem to keep his eyes off you, what I would suggest is take it slow, Take some time to know him, and take some time for yourself the boys can wait, don't take any rash decisions" she hugs Jesse.

"I hope so too" Jesse mumbles hugging her "Now go and rest, do proper skincare you should glow to kill tomorrow in the party" Nancy pushes Jesse towards her house and gets in her car. "Okay bye , you too take care" Jesse shouts at her as she has already driven past her house.

In the living room Robert pulls Zayn in to a conversation "What do you mean she is bonding to you already? I thought she was bound to Adrian, how is that possible, You promised she will not be pulled into our world" Robert whisper yells

"I know Rob I know, I too am surprised right now, because I was not even prepared, she is feeling the pull already and it's not good" Robert harshly grabs Zayn's collar " I have lied to my own sister, never gave her the love and affection she deserves to protect her and you are telling me it's all going in the drain, If something happens to her, I will kill you Bestfriend or not, and I mean it Zayn , sort this out" He pushes Zayn "You think I don't know Rob, I love her she is my other half, if something happens to her ,I will die, but now we need to activate Adrian's powers because he is the only one who can help us" Zayn tells Robert and before Robert could retort they hear Jesse coming inside the house.

" oh hey Rob had a good sleep? was it worth a school day?" she jokes around " Ah my Jesse Can you please give my head a massage , its giving me trouble since you left" Robert pouts.

"Oh why not but let me go freshen up, You guys are staying for dinner right? Because I have to order takeout" she asks both of them "No Jesse we will have to leave, we have to meet the landlord and settle things at the new house" Robert tells her. "Now go freshen up, my head is aching and waiting for it's massage.."

"We will get going now Jesse" Zayn cuts Robert off "But my massage.." Robert whines "You can get the massage later on but we need to hurry now. " and gives Robert a meaningful glare.

" Okay then I will see you guys tomorrow when Zayn comes to pick me up for the party "She gets flustered, when she finds Zayn intensely staring at her "Oh ya sure, I still need to meet Adrian yet" Robert quickly jumps in between them.

"Okay then Goodbye." and she turns to go to her her room when Robert suddenly hugs Jesse which gets her to freeze, he keeps her in his his embrace for few minutes before giving her a forehead kiss and release her. "Don't say Goodbye Silk," he whispers ,"Silk?, who is silk ?" Jessica asks confused, Robert has a perplexed look "Jessica He said Jessica, he hates when someone says Goodbyes" Zayn explains before Robert even has the time to process. " Okay then see you, take care" she waves them with a smile "yea , likewise , you too" Zayn waves back at her and pulls Robert along and walks in long strides.

"I did not say that out loud did I?" Robert asks Zayn after coming out of his shock, "No you did not, I am afraid it has started" Zayn tells him with a defeated sigh.

"Fuck we need to work faster" Robert tells Zayn just nods his head in approval.

They drive in silence both thinking of ways of protecting their treasured person "Jessica".
