>>Nena

Am I a slut?

No

But will I act like one for the attention of one person

Yes

I wore a mini skirt with a crop top and held the jacket in my hands. I always keep my hair open and apply light makeup when I’m going out so that’s what I did and made sure to apply a darker shade of lipstick for a certain someone to notice.

After checking myself out in the mirror I made my way out of my room and went downstairs to make Quincy’s coffee.

Quincelet is a vampire who raised me since I was like three.

We have no relation at all except the fact he took pity on me and my sister and decided to take us in till we were ready to leave.

My older sister, Maya is no longer with us though and I remember how much I cried when she said she was going to leave but that was ten years ago.

Now, I’m a grown woman and I have a very clear objective that I want to achieve no matter what.

I went to the kitchen, made his morning coffee with my ‘special’ recipe and then walked to his study to give it to him.

I didn’t knock and went in while he was staring at his laptop screen while tapping his finger on the desk.

Quincy’s a famous fantasy writer.

Critics have praised him for his fine details of the magical realm and how things operate there but no one knows that none of it actually came from his imagination.

Quincy came to the human world from the realm of magic after all. He lived most of his life in the other dimension and only stepped to this side because he had a job to do but then he got stuck with me and decided to stay.

“Coffee.” I placed it on the side of his desk and then turned around, “I’m leaving.”

“Alrigh-t” I felt his gaze on me, “Stop right there,” He said and I did as I was told with my back to him, “Turn around,” He said in a domineering voice as he stood up from his seat.

I turned to face him, “What?”

“Nena,” He sighed as he took off his blu-ray glasses, “I’m pretty sure you’re going to college.” The bright screen hurts his eyes since he’s a vampire so he puts them on when working otherwise his eyesight is frighteningly amazing.

“Yes,” I nodded and acted innocent.

“So, what’s with your attire?” He scanned me from top to bottom and I felt excitement swirl around me.

“What about it?” I asked as if I had no idea what he was trying to imply.

He met my eyes and I felt a little happy but that glee was very short lived, “It’s inappropriate.” There was only concern in his eyes, “It’s too short.” I saw nothing else in it other than worry and that was annoying.

Very annoying.

“So?” I replied, “I can wear whatever I want.” I was a little disappointed.

Does my body have no affect on him?

Come on dude!

I’m sexy as hell!

Can’t you see my curves? My smooth skin? My long legs?

“Nena!” He wanted to say something but then sighed, “Come on, it’s not a good thing to show so much of your skin.”

“Why do you care so much? It’s not like you’re my boyfriend. Why do you mind?”

“Well, I’m not your boyfriend but I’m like your father.”

Ssnnnap!

Those words!!

‘Father?’

I gritted my teeth.

I hate that word the most!!!

He’s not my father!

I stepped back, “Well, daddy,” I gave him a sarcastic smile, “I will still wear it, I’m an art’s student.”

“What does that have to do with you exposing yourself so much?”

“Hmph!” I didn’t really have the answer to that so I turned and left, “I’m leaving.” I went out of his room but he followed.

“Nena listen to me,” He followed right behind me but I didn’t stop and made my way out of the house, “Nena!” I was refusing to say anything to him and just as I stepped outside the house the sound of a mischievous whistle startled both of us.

“Oooo~ Wow!” Chris was standing right outside the house on his ducati, “That’s a look.” He winked at me and I smiled when I looked back at him.

“And you are?” The tone of Quincy’s voice changed and he glared at Chris while he asked the question.

“He’s my friend.” I glanced at Quincy as I walked towards Chris, “He’s here to pick me up for class.”

I went and sat down behind Chris carefully and then glanced at Quincelet. The look on his face was nice.

It was an expression of bewilderment and although he was only surprised because this was the first time he saw me like this and with a guy, but it still made me a little hopeful.

And that look was bound to be there. After all, I had been a good girl all my life but-

I wrapped my arms around Chris’s waist as I turned my face away.

-That will not be the case anymore.
