Chapter 24 - Demon (2)

The continuous rampage of the Demonised nigo kept resounding through out the area as people evacuated

"What in the world is going on?" The girl who had seen him earlier asked

"I don't know but I heard that Senior chi is the one in battle and we were asked to leave" her mother answered

"!!!" At the mention of the name senior chi even this young girl was surprised. who hasn't heard of her legend?

"I just wonder what that thing is for us to be asked to evacuate" her mother said

The duo continued moving out of the area with full speed among other denizens

The Guardian's villa was located in a place known as the guardian region a wide expanse of land for over one thousand kilometres. The type of people who stayed here were all people of power and affluence, there were also other powerful experts who were given the duty of guarding the Guardian's region both night and day but right now they were all asked to flee from the area. If anyone saw the line up of individuals that were evacuating they would be shocked.

The denizens didn't have a choice, all they could do was flee under granny chi's order

After two minutes of battle, the surrounding area around granny chi and nigo had been left in complete ruins and that was not all, the earth beneath them had been burnt black due to the flames nigo had been releasing

Boom!

Granny chi had just dodged another attack. She had been dodging and deflecting nigo's attacks with only utility energy. There was no element in it

Nigo's mind "why can't I stop? Why am I attacking granny chi? I just wanted to use flames when I became angry when suddenly this energy rose from within my body. It's like I no longer have full control over myself, it's more like another entity is using my body"

Nigo's rage had died down but he couldn't stop his attack, he had lost control over his body no he could still control himself but he couldn't stop himself from attacking granny chi

Boom!

Another explosion of flames as nigo just attacked another time but this time nigo stood there not moving anymore

"Who are you? What are you doing" Nigo asked in his mind but

"Roarrrrr!

The sound of an ancient beast roaring was all he heard in his head

"If you won't respond then get lost!" Nigo thundered in his mind, he began to struggle for control over his body

He couldn't let this continue, how would he allow a foreign entity control him? He forcefully tried to control his body with his pure will power but how could his feeble mind be compared to the power of a third gate user? He was like an ant but he continued persisting

Granny chi just stood there observing nigo from a distance, she would have easily ended the battle before it began with a flip of her finger but.... she was afraid of harming nigo in the process

Suddenly, nigo dropped to one knee, he held his head with both of his hands and then

"Uwaaaahhh!

He let out a shrill cry from his mouth, the very first sound nigo made since he took this form was not that of human or beast but what sounded like the cry of a devil

"!!!"

Granny chi trembled slightly due to the sound she heard, even her soul was slightly shaken. How could she not feel anything under the power of a third gate user

Nigo could feel pain coursing through his mind but he continued to persist, the pain was like a thousand needles pricking him at once but he still held on, he couldn't give up no matter what

At this point granny chi could see blood flowing out from nigo's ears and his mouth, the blood was red but when they dropped they instantly melt they stones underneath nigo

"What in the world is he doing?" She asked her self, she still had not attacked because she didn't know if nigo or rather the Primordial celestial beast was planning

Rooarrrrrrr!

Nigo suddenly heard the cry of the beast in his mind, the cry had a very distinct emotion with it, the one he felt when he was fighting the thugs, the cry of rage

Nigo felt a force hitting his mind along with this cry but he continued to hold on, he kept holding onto his body, he didn't know what was going on but he couldn't let it continue either

"Uwaaahhhh!

The cry came again from nigo's mouth, his voice was already turning hoarse

Suddenly, the energy around him began to flow upwards above nigo's head, the energy began to form a red ball of energy above his head

"!!!"

Granny chi, looked at nigo with disbelief because he wasn't using his hand to form the energy but the energy was growing larger and larger above his head

The energy was hot and dense, it might be just shreds but the power of a third gate user was not to be under estimated.

Just the pressure alone was causing the atmosphere for fifty kilometres to compress,

CRACK!

The earth beneath him had started giving way

"!!!" Nigo in his mind noticed what was going on despite the struggle between him and this intruder

"You plan to..." Nigo figured that the the intruder wanted to destroy the area before it was sent away, more like a last attack

"Damn you...." Nigo gritted his teeth as he increased his struggle with every bit of will power he had within him, he had to stop it or else it would harm granny chi

"!!!" Granny chi suddenly grew alarmed, as the temperature rose, even the air current came to a stand still under the might of Demonized nigo's power

She raised her hand up and a glowing golden energy began to appear on it, she was finally making her attack, she couldn't let him detonate the energy he was gathering or else half of the region would be obliterated along with it. There were those who would survive but the people who wouldn't were more

The struggle increased in nigo's mind, he had to take control and he had to do it fast, with his efforts he was able to stalemate the power of the third gate user even though it was just a shred

"You can't stop me!

He heard in his mind as he tried to stop the attack from going up, the voice was ethereal and it sounded like a domineering force trying to scatter his will power

Nigo puased his struggle for a moment, he wondered why such a being would exist within his body

Granny chi's face grew solemn as she looked at nigo who was on his knees holding his head

Suddenly, the cry came again

Boom!

Space instantly shattered as granny chi took off with a tremendous force, her speed had already far trace dedicated the speed of light so only a streak of God en colour could be seen whn she took off from her spot

Bam!

The aura around nigo shatter the moment her robust utility energy made contact with it,

Pffffffft!

Blood sprayed out of nigo's mouth as he was sent flying but

The energy above him didn't disappear rather, it shown with a more bring red light than ever

Nigo in his consciousness felt the powerful force colliding with his chest but he wasn't in full control so he didn't feel all the pain alone, the intruder felt it also and to a greater portion at that but

Nigo didn't feel the energy disappearing, he felt it still hovering about to explode

"Uwahahaha!

The voice sounded in his mind

"Weak human even if you win this bout today you still lost ultimately" the voice spoke

"Get Lost!" nigo thundered and suddenly at that very moment a white light exploded within his mind he could feel the intruder instantly disappear along with it and he could also feel himself gaining full control over his body, his consciousness suddenly went into a muddled state as well

Outside his mind just as the white light appeared the Red energy exploded close to granny chi

Boom!

The earth shook and clouds gave way under the might of such an explosion.

Granny chi in the middle of the explosion was unharmed by the attack but she had to stop and restrain it be fore it got out of hand

The explosion was travelling at a frightening rate and it was so consuming everything it met along the way

Rumble!

The entire area shook under such force and power, those who had not left yet were already feeling the approaching heat from far away

Granny chi is very quick but her energy couldn't match the speed of the attack even though she was stronger

She gritted her teeth for the first time and tried to increase her speed but it was of no use when suddenly

An unknown force held the attack in it's path of explosion, the power was so powerful that the explosion was immediately suppressed by it and it began to decrease in its range at a frightening rate.

Two seconds later the explosion disappeared without a trace but it had already destroyed two hundred kilometres of land with the middle of the blast as the deepest

The hole it formed in the group was five hundred metres deep and it was catastrophic.

Granny chi quickly caught the unconscious nigo in her arms as she quickly infused utility energy into his body to heal his wounds when suddenly

Whoosh!

The four experts in charge of guarding nigo arrived

"Sorry for interrupting you senior chi but we had to start heading this way the moment we sensed the explosion around nigo but from the looks of it our worry was in vain" Victor said as he saw granny chi holding nigo

The experts didn't leave around but they were close to the Guardian's region, they would only com into the region when nigo was about to head for school but when they sensed the explosion they had to come in, they couldn't just sit by send do nothing

"It's okay, you are just in time. I want you to carry nigo back to the house and guard him for me, I have something I must attend to" Granny chi said as she carried nigo using utility energy to wrap around him

"Fogive me for intruding into your affairs but are going to investigate the cause of the third gate user residing in Nigo? " Victor asked

"No there's something else" she said as she began to float into the air

"The energy around him will protect him and heal his wounds so don't bother yourselves, all I need you to do is, guard him with all your might" granny chi said as she departed

Victor carried nigo in his arms and looked at the direction Granny chi had just flown into and said to him self "what's going on"

The four experts left the area carrying nigo back to his house.

Far in the sky above the clouds granny chi appeared one hundred metres away form a human figure, the human figure was covered in a cloak that was covered by a dark mist

"Who are you?" Granny chi asked this mysterious entity, she had tried to probe it's user strength but anytime she tried she would only experience a dark cloud blocking her senses

"There is no need to know" the figure said in a voice could not be identified as either man nor beast's, the figure was using a sound art to cover it's voice too

"If you are the one who helped me out, I've come to thank you" granny chi said

"I didn't come for that" the figure said

"What have you come here for?" Granny chi asked

""I've come here to do battle with you" the figure said

"!!!" Granny chi felt a sense of danger
