Chapter 25 - Mysterious Challenge
Granny chi released her aura again and said in a deep voice "what do you mean?"
The pressure was enough to cause the clouds to stop moving but the mysterious entity appeared to be unaffected by it in any way.
"What else do you think?" The mysterious entity said " we are going to fight and you can either choose to do so here or we move elsewhere"
Granny chi focused her gaze on the mysterious entity for sometime but she still couldn't see anything because of the dark mist around the mysterious entity
"Do you know who i am?" She had a very serious look on her face
"Who doesn't know" the mysterious entity replied
"I mean do you know the limit of my strength? " Granny chi asked with a serious gaze
"I don't and that is why I have come to challenge you to a duel" the mysterious entity said "I know you won't dare to fight me here so, I have already prepared a location for our battle" the mysterious entity responded with a calm tone.
Granny chi raised her brows slightly and said "I can't fight you right now". How could she fight someone she barely knew not to mention, she didn't want to live nigo and go any where
"Heh.... you are free to do what you like but I can't guarantee you that your little secret won't get out" The mysterious entity said
"And that is?" Granny chi said
"I bet you don't want anyone to find out, about the guardian's son having a third gate user inside him, right?"
"!!!" Granny chi's eyes flashed with alarm, because such a threat to her would also mean it was a threat to the Guardian as well, she looked at the mysterious entity and said
"Are you threatening me?"
"No how would I do something like that? It's just that I've made preparations for our battle and then you're suddenly turning me down" the mysterious entity said
Granny chi grew quiet for a while, she pondered on what the mysterious entity had just said, the mysterious entity had helped her during the attack and also knew nigo's secret. This mysterious fellow could still hide it's aura from her, which means that silencing the mysterious entity would not be easy, especially with people around.
"Sigh..... oh well let's head to the place you prepared for our battle" She said, she had accepted the challenge, this was something she had to do especially if the mysterious entity knows of her true identity.
"Why the sudden change of heart" the mysterious entity asked
"There are only two type of people who would dare to challenge me.
One: those who are powerful and have undergone stressful training to increase their user strength. They are either testing the limits of their power, or trying to have the confidence that they can beat me in battle"
"The second one are fools, who would want to make a fool of themselves by trying to gain fame from fighting me" Granny chi said
"And which of them do you think I fall into?" The mysterious entity asked
"From what you have displayed so far, I would rate you as the former" Granny chi said
"Is that so? Heh... you may be surprised by what the outcome would be later on" the mysterious entity said, from their tone it seemed like the mysterious entity was smiling underneath the dark mist.
"Follow me"
The mysterious entity disappeared from granny chi and instantly appeared five hundred kilometres away
Granny chi wasn't surprised by the speed that was displayed before her, she expected such from a person who would dare to be her opponent
She turned back to look at the the guardian's villa one more time. With her eye sight she could see a grain of sand from the sky due to her Level of evolution in user energy.
She saw the experts entering the compound with nigo

She disappeared, following after the mysterious entity

The experts laid nigo on the couch in the living room of his quarters, he was still unconscious showing no sign of waking up any time soon.
"Whew..... what a day today has been" Li feng said relaxing on one of the couches.
"Don't slack off like that! didn't you hear the order senior chi gave, she said we should on our guard and not relax, or are you trying to put us in trouble?" Lily said
Li feng stood up with speed after what he just heard, he looked at nigo before turning to look outside the windows, he had to stay on guard.
"Anything the matter? Senior victor" kevwe asked, victor he had been quiet and seemed to be pondering over something
"Nothing, let's all stand in a square formation" victor said with furrowed brows
The experts all arranged themselves at four corners around nigo, keeping guard over him

Granny chi and the mysterious entity who was leading the way, travelled outside the Guardian's region, they kept moving West of the region till they got to an open area filled with mountains.
The area had numerous vegetation as well as user beasts, they kept moving at full speed travelling to the middle of the range. This was one of the most dangerous places known to the denizens of the Flame Continent, it was also a place experts com to train and aquire experience. 'The Beast Range Of Torment!.
No normal expert would be able to easily travel to the middle of this place because of the powerful beasts that resided here. However, due to granny chi and the mysterious entity's ability to hide themselves the beast didn't take notice of them.
"Where is the area?" Granny chi asked. though they were both ridiculously quick they both were heading out of the Flame domain and she didn't want to leave the capital.
"Relax, we are already there" the mysterious entity said "we would battle at that mountain over there" pointing at a mountain at the middle, of the mountain range.
They both came to a stop on the peak of the mountain and granny chi said "if you really know who I am then you would know that we can't fight here as our battle would exterminate all life around here"
Mysterious entity: "I already have that covered"
Shing!
A barrier suddenly manifested covering a range of two thousand kilometres.
"!!" Granny chi furrowed her brows at the sight before her. This barrie that had suddenly appeared, was both colourless and auraless but she could tell that it was on par with the absolute Flame Barrier of the Flame continent! Such a powerful barrier, how could a person create it alone?
"When did you create the barrier" granny chi asked
"It was already here you just didn't notice it when you entered it's range, it is a barrier that can be hidden out of sight and it only allows people get in but they can't get out!" The mysterious entity said as their baleful aura began to rise
"!!" Granny chi didn't respond but she was alarmed because the aura that was being released by this mysterious entity didn't have any user strength. she could sense it but she could also feel suppression coming from the mysterious entity
"We are both alone, away from the world, so show me what you can do!" The mysterious entity's voice was still the same. However it had killing intent writing all over it
Granny chi wasn't scared, even if the mysterious entity had just shown killing intent she didn't feel a time of fear one bit, it is because she had a belief that she won't loose.
Boom!
User energy exploded from her body, this monstrous energy didn't have any elemental law in it, but the entire area within the barrier trembled under the power it radiated.
The aura enveloped everywhere except the mysterious entity, it was like the mysterious entity had an untouchable domain which nuetralized the pressure around their self.
Granny chi stretched her palm
Boom! whoosh!
She took off from where she was, carrying her User energy with full force,
Boom! Whoosh!
The mysterious entity dashed at her with equal speed and energy of their own, stretching their hand that was still covered in a dark mist at granny chi
BOOM!!!
Space within the barrier shook tremendously as the power of the two collided, the shock wave flew in every direction instantly destroying everything it came in contact with, within the barrier.
The mountains within the barrier were all flattened under such force, the trees and plants and even innocent beasts that were in the area were all obliterated aswell
Crack!
The earth folded and shattered under the force that distroyed everything inside the barrier
Boom!
The two powerful entitys were separated from each other after the shock wave elapsed.
Granny chi looked at the mysterious entity before her and said "you truly are a worthy opponent"
"Heh.... you're saying that like our battle has even begun" the mysterious entity laughed.
Granny chi's gaze was still calm, although her opponent could match her strength with pure User energy without loosing, that didn't mean that they were truly equally matched
Boom!
Flames suddenly erupted around granny chi and the temperature grew hotter as, the fiery light burned around her
There was no User gate behind her, yet even space was beginning to distort under her might.
The flames covered her arms as she looked at her opponent with calm eyes. The mysterious entity was still calm despite the rising temperature.
Whoosh!
Granny chi appeared before the mysterious entity with pure speed
Bang!
The deafening sound of a powerful collision resounded across the area, flames flew into the air as the mysterious entity was knocked backward for some metres by Granny chi's fist
Whoosh boom!
Granny chi appeared before the mysterious entity once more punching the mysterious entity far away,.
The mysterious entity did a flip mid air and came to a stop after ten kilometres.
"If you don't want to loose use your element" Granny chi said
Whoosh!
The mysterious entity suddenly disappeared and appeared before granny chi with an equally frightening
Bang!
Granny chi was knocked down from the sky into the ground, causing the earth to cave in as dust flew into the air.
Boom!
Granny chi exploded forth from the earth with tremendous speed, she flew to the mysterious entity with flames around her hands making a push with both of her arms.
The mysterious entity had ignited flames on their arms just before welcoming granny chi's collision.
Boom!!
Space ruptured under the might of their collision
Boom! Bam! Boom!
They continued swinging hands at each other and countering each others fist with their own. If someone were here the only thing they would see will be afterimages of flames. But the two of them had released thousands of hits in their exchange of pure martial arts skills.
Boom!
They separated for some metres and granny chi immediately attacked with flames erupting from her fist flying horizontally towards the mysterious entity, who was still in mid air
Whoosh boom!
The mysterious entity disappeared using an instantaneous movement skill and the attack collided with the barrier
The mysterious entity appeared behind granny chi and threw a powerful punch at her
Bang!
Granny chi skillfully caught it and tossed the mysterious entity using the arm that she caught.
Whoosh!
The mysterious entity was sent to the ground at an astonishing speed rate.
Fwhoosh!
Granny chi did not allowing the mysterious entity land before she descended with a stomp.
Whoosh! Bang!
The mysterious entity used the movement skill again and granny chi missed and stomped on the ground instead, making dust and stones scatter in different directions in the air.
The mysterious entity appeared, in an upside down position and releasing a wave flames from both of their legs at granny chi
Granny chi instantly released flames to counter the attack from the mysterious entity.
BOOM!
The flames exploded mid - air
Whoosh!
Granny chi appeared above the mysterious entity, an orange coloured flaming gate appeared behind her.
Rumble!
Space could barely hold itself together the moment the gate appeared, because even space was being burnt by the gate.
"Fire Art: Collapsing Meteorite!
The Fire art that granny chi used was a fire meteor of five hundred metres in size. And it appeared instantly!
BOOM!
The Collapsing meteorite exploded as it collided with the mysterious entity. Causing the entire barrier to vibrate under its power.
Granny chi looked at the flaming Purgatory before her but there was barely any emotion on her elderly but beautiful face.
Boom!
The mysterious entity burst from the middle of the flames and dashed straight at granny chi with tremendous speed.
Bang!
The mysterious entity hit the silhouette that granny chi left behind
Granny chi appeared some few metres away from the mysterious entity.
She observed the mysterious entity but her brows creased at the sight before her eyes. It is because the mysterious entity didn't get burnt by the attack that she released from her Fire Art. Not even a small piece of burn could be seen, not to mention that the aura of the mysterious entity was still the same as before.
The Art she used was among the S - Grade Art of the Flame domain so, how could this person come out unscathed?
"If you don't stop holding back you will die quite easily" the mysterious entity said with a calm tone.
"We aren't fighting to the death, are we?" Granny chi asked with a serious look on her face.
Boom!
This time, it was the mysterious entity that attacked. They didn't respond to Granny chi's question and flew for an attack.
The mysterious entity waved their hand and multiple flames shot out in succession.
Grani chi flashed through the attacks, leaving multiple afterimages behind, and then the mysterious entity appeared behind her
Bang!
Their fist collided sending them flying in opposite directions.
Granny chi clapped her hands together and
Boom!
Three flaming tongues descended from above wrapping around the person before her.
Fire Art: Multiple Tongues of annihilation!
The tongues drowned the mysterious entity in flames when suddenly
"Ha!
The flames were dispelled from their target by azure coloured flames
"!!!" Granny chi raised her brows at the colour of the flames, it was because she had seen them somewhere before.
"Hehehe... You really are worth killing Chi Meili!" The voice of the mysterious entity became deep as a boundless killing intent enveloped the area.
