FAKE DATE

Five minutes after Suyin got home from Meixiu's office, she called Chaoxiang and told him he needs to see her. Shd even mentioned that it is about Meixiu and thst it is something important, something he needs to know. And with Chaoxiang expecting it is a thing that could testify that Meixiu isn't really a legitimate daughter of the Yang, Suyin's phone call really intrigued hi, and he ended up knocking on Suyin's door.

He admits being with Meixiu isn't that troublesome as to what he expects. When he get to remember how Suyin and him would argue about the things that most couples aren't having troubles with, he can say it is more stressful to be with a possessive woman. But he also knows that they argue a pot because they only want what's best for their relationship. And even of Suyin would argue with him all day, he will never mind.

Also, marrying someone from the Yang family is the only way he could fulfill his promise to his grandfather. Back then, he voluntarily said yes to seal that promise because he is with Suyin that ti,e and he is really going to marry her someday. Who would've thought Suyin will leave him and knock him out of the blue? And the worst part, who would've thought Meixiu would show up to represent the Yang family and will be set up in a marriage with him?

"Chaoxiang!"

Suyin rushed to hug her ex lover as soon as she opened the door. Chaoxiang found it strange, he is feeling Suyin is afraid over something.

"Suyin, did something happen?"

"I never thought you would actually come. I thought you really are passionate for Meixiu now."

"What do you mean?"

"Those words, I thought they were for me and mine only."

"I don't... Say it. I don't understand."

"You said you love her. You said it while I was there, listening!"

"You were there?"

If Suyin was with Meixiu earlier, and if Meixiu is with her mom, that must've been a good show. Is Suyin claiming what's supposed to be hers?", Chaoxiang thought. He is confused about Suyin's statements. If that's what really happened, then Meixiu called her for a different reason. She must've used Chaoxiang and his words to get back on Suyin.

"Suyin, you heard it wrong. Meixiu, she made me believe we, as a couple should impress her mom. That's why I said those words. I wasn't sincere and it wasn't real."

"Mom isn't there. We're in her office."

It is true that Meixiu lied to Chaoxiang. She made him believe that Sora was there and that they should make her feel that their relationship is alright. Msybe it is indeed a reckless move but between Suyin and her, she should be the one hearing Chaoxiang's "I love you". She has all the rights to be sweet, clingy and expressive to her husband.

"That Meixiu is giving me headaches. I'm really sorry, you don't deserve to bear this pain. I'll settle this and I'll make it up to you. I promise."

"Really? Then can you stay here for the night?"

"Stay here?"

With him seeing Suyin like this, with him seeing his ex lover's vulnerable state, he must've said yes the moment he requested her to stay. However, there is a red light in his head that's stopping him from attempting to stay the night with Suyin. Meixiu's words that day they argued about Jianguo, those words are stuck in his head.

"I can't stay here. I need to talk to Meixiu. She needs to know her place."

Suyin is disatisfied with his answer. She just wants to be with him and successfully accomplish her evil plan. And with Chaoxiang refusing like that, she knows she can never succeed in doing what's in her head.

On the other hand, Chaoxiang is still thinking about Meixiu. To be honest, he hates her because she lied to him but he can't choose Suyin over her either. Is it because she confessed she can never live without him?

"Suyin, can I use your rest room before I go?"

"Sure."

And so she let him in. The man casually placed his phone on her table before he headed to the bathroom. Looking at his phone, Suyin thought of an idea on how to get even with her sister. So she grabbed Chaoxiang's phone and opened his conversation with Meixiu.

-"Meixiu, wanna have coffee at the cafe near my studio?"-

That was the message she sent Meixiu and the woman immediately replied. "Idiot and pathetic!", Suyin whispered before she checked Meixiu's reply.

-"Set up a time please."-

-"3 PM. Is that good?"-

-"Great. I'll be there."-

And Suyin immediately deleted all the messages she sent Meixiu and deleted Meixiu's replies as well. There is a certain person in her head that she knows is going to be happy once she saw Meixiu. She had been entrusting Meixiu with this man and he has been waiting to be able to confess how much he loves her.

"Caohing, don't disappoint me this time.", she said to herself, with a plastered evil smile on that pair of red lips.
