Chapter 13 Woops

Eclipse’s POV

I was sitting out in front of the school with my music on random waiting for someone to arrive and open the school. I had closed off my senses except hearing and wasn’t paying attention to the time so when there was a lull in my music I heard the clicking of the gate meaning someone was there to open the school. I looked over to see the same black-haired woman with glasses opening the gate. She didn’t look like she noticed me, so I decided to announce my presence.

“I thought it would be a teacher or the principle that opens the gate, but I wasn’t expecting one of the students to open them.” I said and pushed off the wall. She jumped dropping her keys and turned to glare at me. “Sorry about that I didn’t know I would scare you.” I said with a fake smile.

She then bent down to pick up her keys. I tried to ignore her as a pop up appeared.

Acting skill has leveled up from Lvl 1-2

I quickly terminated it and saw her open the gate and walk in. But I decided to stay outside until a few more people showed up. When they did I then walked in and went to my class room and sat in the same seat. No one was in the room, so I let my music play until the teacher arrived. I noticed Jason didn’t show up for the first period, so I figured he was skipping. The lesson was boring, so I looked at the front of the class without paying attention to anything the teacher said. She never called on my and I can thank my luck stat for that so when the bell rag for lunch I simply got up and went to the roof. I grabbed a random piece of food from my inventory and took a bite of it realizing I had grabbed a hotdog with mustard and ketchup I shrugged then finished my meal. I looked over the ledge to see Jason looking for something.

“What are you looking for?” I whispered to myself.

I watched him for a while as he continued to search but the bell rung, and I decided to go back to class since I’ll be skipping tomorrow anyways. I walked into the mostly full classroom and saw Jason in the back with his hand on his chin looking out the window. I moved my causing him to flinch as I sat down he turned to look at me with an emotionless face.

“Why do you look so dead?” I asked him.

“What?” He simply questioned.

“Its looks to me like you just got your hart broken.” I replied. He then fell to the ground with his legs sticking strait up. “Hehe guess I hit the nail on the head.” I laughed.

He then picked himself up. “Oh, hay did you hear about the Gamer hunter?” He suddenly asked me.

“No, I haven’t what about this man?” I asked.

“Well there’s a secret request for his head and whoever kills him will get a massive reward from their gods.” He replied.

“Cool guess I’ll keep an eye out for him, but I suspect he will have a hard time finding me in my realm.” I laughed.

“This is no joke he always seems to find the gamers in any world he visits he has killed 60 gamers so far.” He hissed.

“And how many are immortal demons?” I asked.

“None immortality is nearly unobtainable.” He said.

“Is that so? Hm.”

“Hay your not saying.” He said like he figured out.

“What no it was just a question don’t take everything at face value.” I said covering up my slip of tongue. “Anyway, class is almost over.” I continued looking at the teacher who started righting our homework for tonight. “Well I’m heading home to sleep. So, see you in two days.” I said and walked out of the room.

“Yah see… Wait what?” he said surprised then I heard a subtle. “Dam.”

I walked out of the school just as the bell rang and yawned as I walked to the gates. As students flooded out of the school I was already down the block with my headphones in and music playing softly in my ears. I passed the normal turn off to the church but continued so I would take the other way, but I ended up bumping into a young blond girl her baby like face and green eyes fit her blond hair perfectly.

“Oh, I’m sorry I wasn’t watching where I was going.” I said offering my hand to help her up.

She looked up at me but gasps when she sees my eyes closed. “Oh no I’m sorry it should have been me that should have watched where I was going.” She said getting up by herself.

“If you say so.” I replied then noticed her looking around. “Did you lose something or are you lost?” I asked her.

“A little of both actually. I lost my luggage and I don’t know where the church of this town is.” She said.

“Well I can’t help you with your luggage and as for the church it was destroyed in a lightning storm a day a go.” I said scratching the back of my head.

“What but that was supposed to be my new home.” She said and fell to her knees crying.

I then pat her head. “There, there no need to cry you can stay with me for the time being or at least until you can find a new place.” I said.

“Sniff is that ok?” She asked.

“Sure, I mean it’s not like I have anyone in the house so one guest wouldn’t be very problematic.” I said walking up the hill to my house.

“What was that?” She asked.

I sighed “Nothing.”

We made it to the house and Miss Argento was in aw she was standing in front of the house with her jaw wide open.

“Close your mouth or you’ll catch flies.” I joked.

She quickly closed her mouth then rapid fired questions. “Are you rich? Why do you act 15 when you are 5? Are your parents rich? How many rooms are there? Are there any maids in the house?”

“Yes, I am 15, No, 26, and No” I answered her questions all at once. “Now let’s go I’m getting tired.” I said with a yawn.

“Ok” She then happily followed me into the house.

I then remembered that I had homework, so I told her that I was going to my room and will be there all night. She agreed and went into the kitchen to look for food and then I walked up stairs I walked upstairs. When I made it to my room I closed it and sat at my desk and got to work.

After a few minuets Asia knocked on my door. “Hold on I’m coming.” I said. I then opened the door. “Yah Asia?”

“Um I was wondering where I’ll sleep?” She questioned shyly.

“Oh! Uh I don’t know just choose a room and have a good night.” I replied scratching the back of my neck. “To be honest I don’t know where anything is except 2 bathrooms a kitchen and this room.” I continued.

“Oh, ok thanks.” She said then left to find another room.

I then walked into my room and finished my homework and went to bed forgetting to tell Asia not to wake me I then let sleep overtake me.

Jason’s POV

“I can’t figure her out at all Reis.” I said.

“Who?” She asked.

“My new school mate.” I replied.

“Oh her. The one that just transferred?” she said.

“Yah her.” I replied. “She is also the one that scares me the most.” I mumbled but of course she heard me.

“She scares you?” Questioned Reis.

“Yah she’s the only that seems to be able to block my ability.” I lied.

“Oh, I see that would worry me too.” She said.

“But what worries me the most now is the movement of the fallen angles.” I said looking at the map of the town with several red dots placed at the sightings of fallen angles.

“I wonder what happened to that church that they were staying at I think that’s what set them off.” Stated Rias.

“Wait what happened to the church?” I asked.

“Its been destroyed. Why?” She questioned.

“What? How?” I shouted.

“It looked like a lightning storm hit it.” She replied. “Why do you want to know?”

‘Oh god pleas don’t let it be who I think it is.’ I whined in my thoughts.

“Who do you think it is?” Asked Reis.

“God dam it Reis I told you to stop snooping in my head.” I yelled at her.

“Sorry but I want to know who you think it was.” I demanded with her hands over her chest pushing her breasts up.

“Sorry the person I’m thinking of is much scarier than you.” I replied. “But if it was them then I’ll scold them myself.” I said then walked out of the room. “Now where are you Eclipse?” I asked myself as I went into town to search for her.

Eclipse’s POV

“Eclipse!” Shouted Asia as she pounded on my door.

I quickly got up and Scythe appeared on my shoulder. I swung the door open. “What’s wrong?” I nearly shouted.

“Oh, sorry if I scared you but there is someone at your door.” She replied.

“Really dam how long have I been asleep?” I questioned groggily.

“I say only about an hour.” Said scythe.

“Um is that a fairy? And you’ve actually been asleep for three hours.” She replied.

“Fairy no and to me its only been 1 hour’s rest.” I replied.

“Ok? So, what is she?” She asked.

“Consider her a spirit weapon she’s intelligent but is first and foremost a weapon.” I replied walking to the front door. When I got to the front door I looked to the peeper I saw a short blond girl who looked almost my age. “Who are you and why are you knocking so late at night?” I asked through the door.

“So, someone does live here. I need to ask you something.” She mumbled then stated.

“Fine but I warn you I’m tired and cranky.” I warned. I opened to door to see the girls surprised face. “What? Have a problem?” I growled.

She shook herself out of her surprise. “Sorry are your parents’ home?” She asked.

“Don’t have any. I live by myself so what do you need to ask?” I grumbled.

“Oh, sorry well since you live here you might know what happened to the church at the base of the hill?” She asked.

“That was a church?! Sorry but I just moved in a day ago, so I didn’t know that was a church.” I lied. “Now if that’s it then I’m going back to bed.” I continued and turned to enter the house but what she whispered to herself stopped me.

“Dam Reinare won’t be happy if I comeback with nothing to report about the destruction of her church.”

I quickly whipped around and grabbed her head right on her ears. “Oh, so there were more of you.” I hissed. “Now deliver this to your leader leave this town or the loss of several priests and a fallen angle will be the least of your worries.” I then had Yuki make her ants crawl into her ears. I quickly kneed her gut when she was about to scream. “This is your only warning.” I hissed then kicked her away from my house. “Don’t come back or those ants will bring you to a painful and brutal end.” I warned.

She looked up at me with fear and quickly ran back to the church. I on the other hand calmly walked back to my room to go to sleep. “Scythe, where are you?” I asked.

“I here.” She replied then flew down to see me.

“Stay with Asia and tell her not to disturb me and to come to you it there are any real problems. You guys are also not allowed to answer the door.” I ordered.

“I understand. Have a good night.” She said with a joking salute.

“Ok don’t need to over do it.” I said with an eye roll. “Goodnight” I said and went to my room. I laid down in my bed and let sleep take me.

Mittelt’s POV

‘Her eyes oh god her eyes they radiated evil. There was no happiness her eyes were red like a demon form Tartarus. What could make a child have those eyes.’ I though to myself as I continued to run to the destroyed church. ‘What did she mean the ants?’ I though about the last thing I heard before I got too far away.

I finally made it to the church and I was out of breath.

“Mittelt what’s wrong?” Asked our leader Reinare

I held up one finger telling her to give me a minuet. When I finally caught my breath, I started to speak. “I think I found the person that did this to the church and she gave me a message for you. leader leave this town, or the loss of several priests and a fallen angle will be the least of your worries.” I finished.

“Was that all?” She asked.

“No but I didn’t hear the rest of it.” I replied in a apologetic tone.

“No if she wanted you to deliver the rests she wouldn’t have let you get away.” She replied. “I’ll call Kaliwarner and we will plan for the battle that will commence.” Said Rainer with a sinister laugh.

“Yes Rainer.” I said happily.

3rd POV

Rainer immediately contacted Kaliwarner over a telepathic signal wave. Kaliwarner used a portal to arrive at the church in an instant. She greeted her friends as she arrived then they got to work making a plan but during the plan Mittelt felt a splitting headache suddenly hit causing her to cry out and fall to the ground.

“Mittelt what’s wrong?” Asked Kaliwarner.

“My head it feels like my head is splitting.” She cried in pain.

“Mittelt come on do you know why?” Asked Rainer worriedly.

“Her last sentence was something about ants.” She screamed.

“Ants? Wait ants as in plural!?” Said Rainer in a panic. “Did she touch you anywhere?”

“My EARS!” Mittelt shouted.

“Hurry Kaliwarner we need to get-” Rainer shouted but was interrupted by Mittelt’s head exploding and covering the girls in blood brains and iron shell bullet ants.

They looked in horror as Mittelt’s headless body fell to the ground. Then they felt the intense pain as the ants started stinging them they tried to squish them, but the ants would move too quickly for them then sting them again they screamed for mercy but the ants like their master had none. Finally, the venom worked its way into their hart and lugs causing them to freeze up and the remaining two fallen angles fell to the ground and turned into black feathers.
