Kobold Ancestor

"What the hell..."

The first thing that Zyou saw after logging in the next day was a notification about him being kicked out of the guild and a chat from a player named HeadHunter. He checked the chat with that player which was Dave, his friend.

"{That idiot leader kicked you out from the guild, so I too left the guild}"

"{I got an invitation after I left the guild from Beyond guild, they have a lot of good players and the leader is a top ranker. I will try to talk with the guild higher-ups if I could bring you to the guild too}"

Zyou sent him a reply, "You don't need to, they maybe will not accept a player below level 70."

"I need a new weapon. I can't use my bare hands every time, it's tiring and I don't have any basic skill for bare hand fighting, unlike those with fighter class."

He checked the inventory. After that, he opened the trade center, "Let's see what I can buy with 4000 golds," he said.

There are features called 'Trade Center' and 'Auction' in the game. Trade Center is a feature where players can buy and sell their items between players, it can be accessed from the game feature or they can also visit the Auction building. Meanwhile, the Auction is a little similar to Trade Center except that players can auction their items to NPCs and vice versa.

The auction only accepts items above epic to be auctioned. Most players were using the auction if they want to get a lot of gold from epic items and higher.

Zyou who was still looking for weapons at the trade center finally found an Epic-grade weapon with a price of 3800 gold.

Rarity: Epic

Durability: 180/200

Attack power: 240 ~ 400

Effect:

*STR +20

*DEX +10

*Grants 'burn' damage to enemy hit with it

A sword made by a master blacksmith at sunset and finished at sunset as well.

Item restriction: Level 30 or higher, more than 45 DEX.

"The specs are good except it is not an equipment set. But, I don't care about the set bonus for now because of +100 STR from my title."

Zyou bought the sword and left only 200 gold in his pocket.

"There goes my money again... Haa, if only my level didn't reset, maybe I can make a lot of money by selling various equipment for level 100 or higher. Never mind, I should just choose a production-type class in the beginning if I want to make money," he sighed.

"It's no use thinking about it. It's better to farming exp again while the buff of the privilege is still in effect."

He went farming for exp by killing level 30 ~ 40 mobs at the Red goblin cave. There's another hidden reward from hunting in this place before the player exceeds level 40. Zyou leveled up 2 times from killing the red goblin race and also got the hidden reward the next day.

Continue to flood the red goblin race with blood, making you feared by them. The red goblin race will only submit to those who can frighten it.

Effect: Active skill 'Intimidation' obtained.

"It's a title this time, not bad. I also got a new skill."

[Intimidation]

"Oh, it's about time the Kobold Ancestor spawned."

Zyou rushed to the southern forest where the kobolds appeared. When he got there, he found dozens of players level 50 and above judging from the equipment.

"Ah, how could I forget? The Kobold Ancestor was a raid boss field, there should be an announcement in the area if the boss field is about to be spawned," he said.

"I'm an ADC with high DPS, looking for a good party!"

"We need a durable tanker!"

"Everyone come join my Stone-rank party, 5 slots left!"

Among level 50 players who prepared for the raid, there are 2 players with level 70 or maybe higher who also recruiting members for their party.

"Typical high-level players who want to monopolize the loot of lower-level players," Zyou gritted his teeth. "I don't really care about the party, whoever kills the boss, I still get the participation reward and the reward for the person responsible for summoning the boss."

Boss monster appearances are very rare, sometimes they will appear only if someone summons them using an item or clearing a hidden quest, or through privilege like Zyou did.

A few minutes later...

...

"Oi! Everyone, get ready!"

"Here it comes!!"

"Mages prepare your spell!"

"Tankers prepare to pull aggro and maintains it!"

"Supports keep giving the tankers your buff!"

Gulp!

....

"Guwoooooooooooooo!!!!!"

A 4-meter tall kobold appeared and immediately let out a roar that stunned and inflicted 'Fear' to the players around.

"Supports! Quickly dispel debuff from tankers first!"

The five support players cast a skill that removed debuff from the tankers and grants them multiple buffs. After the tankers are free from the debuff status, they immediately used a skill that can pull aggro monsters in turn.

Aggro is a mechanism used in many MMORPGs, as well as in some RPGs, by which mobs prioritize which characters to attack. The player who generates the most aggro or hate on a mob will be preferentially attacked by that mob. Holding aggro is done by usually one person, the tanker who uses his abilities to make the enemy attack him and no one else. Aggro control is the art and work which is done by all members of a party to force the mob to attack the tanker first so that the damage dealer can continue to do damage without worrying about the mobs attacking them.

This raid has been going on for 5 minutes but the boss's health has only decreased by 10%.
