CHAPTER SIX

Waking up, i went to the bathroom to take my bath and get ready today is my first day at school. Well not my first day at school but my first day in a new school. Just as i finished putting on my dress Tyler came to ask if i was ready to go, i told him that i was ready but i needed ten more minutes and he left me room.

I went downstairs and straight to the kitchen, i grabbed an apple and went out after telling mom bye. Tyler was already waiting for me so i got to the car.

Just as Tyler parked his car, I saw Ryder i got out of the car and went over to him.

" Mia, you look amazing"

"Thanks"

"So how are you? Like are you nervous or anything"

"No, i'm just uncomfortable. Look at all those eyes on me like they haven't seen a new kid before"

"Of course you will have eyes on you when you are with Ryder and I" I turn around to see Tyler

"So you guys are like the popular kids in the school?" I asked not directing the question to anyone of them.

"Yeah, you can say that"

"Okay, will you please take me to the reception i need to get my timetable?" I asked them

"Okay let's go" Ryder said

When we got to the reception, i told her my name and asked for my timetable, checking the boys' timetable i noticed we have few classes together. She then told me my locker number was 335

"So let's go,i need to get to my locker" I told the boys

Just as i got to my locker, a boy came over and greeted Tyler and Ryder. They seemed pretty close, I wonder how many other friends Tyler had and why do they have to be goodlooking.

"Ty, who is the girl?" One of the boys asked.

What the fuck, can't they just leave me alone I'm already uncomfortable as it is.

"I'm Vanessa" I said before Tyler could speak up

"I'm guessing you are new here"

"Yeah"

"I'm Jackson" the guy said.

"Nice meeting you"

"It's my pleasure" He smiled at me.

Well that wasn't bad, he is nice and friendly. Turning to Ryder " Can you show me my class?"

"What subject do you have first?" Jackson asked

"English"

"Great, we can go together I also have English"

"Thanks" I told the boys bye and left with Jackson.

"Vanessa, you seem pretty close to Tyler are you guys together"

"What??? Tyler and I? Not at all, he's just someone i can't get rid of" I didn't know if Tyler's friend knew he had a sister and I'm not sure Tyler wants to tell his friends about me.

"Okay, so let me see you time table" I handed my timetable to him

"We have most classes together today" He said as he handed my timetable back to me.

Just as we entered the class, i saw the teacher in the class already. What's going on? I didn't even hear the bell. I checked my time and saw that i was five minutes late.

"I guess i'm late on my first day" I whispered to Jackson and he chuckled.

"Jackson, you are late again" The teacher said

"I'm sorry sir, something came up"

"Seems like you are always late" I whispered to him again, by now the teacher was looking at me

"And you are?"

"I'm Vanessa, I'm new here" I told him. His gaze is making me uncomfortable

"Okay, go and get a sit. I will pardon you today because you are new"

"Thank you sir" I said as i went over to sit beside Jackson. I could feel eyes on me.

"What's with this staring? Or is it a staring competition?" I asked Jackson

"Don't worry it's nothing" He answered

How can i not worry? This fixed gazes on me is making me really uncomfortable. My mind wasn't even in the class. As soon as i heard the bell, i started parking my things

"How was the class?" Jackson asked as we walk to our next class

"I don't know, i seriously didn't hear a thing in that class"

"Wow, you looked like a serious student at first sight and here you are not being serious" He said in a mock tone

"You just don't know how much i hate school" I said as we entered the next class and as usual i didn't pay attention again. The classes went by and it was lunch time, i was happy when i heard the bell.

"Vanessa, i will see you later i need to go" He said as he walked out of the class

"Okay" I said even though i knew he didn't hear me. Just as i set to leave the class some girls came up to me, the one in the middle must be their leader. She looked like a barbie doll, she can't even apply her make up perfectly what a shame.

If looks could kill then i'm sure i will be six feet under the ground already, i could see the girl shooting me daggers from their looks. Can't i enjoy a peaceful and happy first day at school?

"Hey, new girl I wont..." Just before she finished her statement i cut her off

"It's Vanessa and please move out of the way, i'm in a hurry" I told her cuz if she thinks i'm someone she can pick on then she got the wrong person. I tried to shove between the girls but my plan failed miserably, two of the girls pulled me back if you were wondering how many of them were present they were five.

"I'm still talking and don't you dare walk out of me again" By now everyone's attention was on us and for the first time i actually liked the attention.

'I'm gonna treat your fucked up personality today' for some reason i feel like I've done this before

"Oh sorry about that, i just had some other important things to do than stay here with some bunch of idiots" I could hear different comments from the students in the room. I was still very hungry and so i decided to end their drama once and for all.

"If you don't mind, i'm starving and i need to eat" I set to go again just to be grabbed by the girl (their leader) "If you don't get your filthy hands off me this instant you are gonna regret coming to this school" I threatened her, she left me alone immediately i could see her shivering 'so she's all bark and no bite' I thought to myself.

I started walking not knowing where i was going since i didn't know the way to the cafeteria, still walking in the middle of nowhere i saw a girl coming out of a class i quickly run up to her

"Excuse me please, can you please show me the way to the cafeteria i think i'm lost"

"You must be new here" She said as we began walking to the cafeteria. I just hope I'm not to late for lunch, if i'm unable to get food in the cafeteria i'm gonna make that barbie girl pay

"Yes, I'm Vanessa by the way" I told her

"I'm Amanda, so you must be the girl everyone is talking about"

"Did i do something bad?" I asked her not sure what she meant

"No you didn't, it's just that you get along with the school popular kids and it's just your first day"

I replied with an Oh. Tyler didn't tell me he's a popular kid in school, even if he told me there's nothing i can do to it. I'm happy we get along as it is already.

We finally reached the cafeteria and Amanda and i got pizza, we saw an empty table and sat down to eat.

Few minutes later, Tyler and his friends came into the cafeteria. Two of those boys looked familiar but i can't remember where i had seen them.

"Fuck" Amanda cursed.

"Hey, what's the problem?"

"This is their table"

"Shouldn't it be first come first serve?" I asked her not sure if she was trying to tell me to get up from the table.

"Yeah, but they sit here all the time and they are the group of people that you don't want to cross paths with"

"I see, but they can't be that bad. I mean the three i've met today aren't that bad"

She then told me each of their names and why you shouldn't cross their paths. I still sat on the table, i don't know if i was being stupid or daring.

"Can't we just sit with them?" I asked her and she gave me the look of 'are you kidding me?'

"I'm serious, if they can't share they should get somewhere else to sit"

"Noah hates girls near him" It was then i remembered him, Noah Williams the boy who made me a laughing stock in the school in elementary school and i promised myself to repay him back someday. I don't forgive people easily, you mess with me i also do the same.

"You mean Noah Williams?" I asked her

"Yeah, i thought you didn't know him"

"Don't worry, it's a long story" We stood up from the table since i already finished my meal and Amanda was freaking out too much.

After i dropped my tray, Amanda went to sit on another table. I was about going out of the cafeteria when i ran into Noah and his friends.

'Should i walk up to him?'

What if he tries shit again?

Don't worry if he tries to humiliate you then you make a comeback for yourself

I can do this. I said to my self as i walked up to Noah

Knowing the fact that he doesn't like girls around him, i stopped in his front and wrapped my hands around his neck

"Noah Williams, we meet again."
