Felix's POV
One Week later
Walking up the steps to the courtroom and finally seeing the light of the courtroom made me feel a bit calm. I almost felt free and if it was not for the chains around my ankles or the handcuffs around my arms. The courtroom came into to view and the first thing I did was look at the crowd, the reporters were there, waiting to get a piece of me and sell me off piece by piece to every reader on the columns or reading their newspaper.
I did not care what they thought of me, my only worry was that my wife, who was stalked by the press at every chance they got. They camped outside our home; this was not the life that I imagined for Cindy and me.
