Sam knew he had met a level 3 silver eyes wolf!
He needed to be exceptionally careful since it had wind ability. It was extremely fast and hard to kill. But Sam's speed had also improved since before, so he could still barely fight with the wolf.
The wolf growled and moved in a blur and stretched its claws towards Sam's neck. Sam swiftly somersaulted and kicked the wolf on its abdomen with his legs.
Boom!~
The wolf hit the tree at the attack. But it quickly bounced back as it snarled viciously and sent wind slashes as it rushed towards Sam at a very fast speed. Sam couldn't exactly pinpoint its trajectory amid the wind slashes, he had difficulty attacking the beast. He relied on its instinct to defend the attack. Even with his paper art, Sam felt helpless.
Clang!~
Sam instantly moved his blade and slashed towards the left and but the sharp claw of the wolf. He hardly withstood the attack when its bloody mouth came near his throat to tear it apart.
Sam at that moment was seriously scared facing death so close! Out of instinct, he clenched his right hand and punched the side face of the beast heavily!
Bam!
Its face became ruptured as it bled sinisterly. Seeing it bleeding rapidly from its face, Sam didn't give it time to get up and he slashed his blade towards its abdomen.
"Roooarrr!"
Sadly, the wolf being a level 3 monster, its vitality was very tenacious and even though its abdomen was ruptured by the blade attack, it got up from the ground while limping and looked at Sam coldly with bloodthirsty eyes as it tried to run away!
Sam thought that it's gonna attack him more madly when he could sneakily kill it. Sam fumed at the beast as he aimed his last remaining crossbow and rapid-fire at the fleeing beast!
Swish~
Swish~
"Awoo"
The crossbow finally hit the back of the injured beast. Sam laughed menacingly as he ran towards it only to see it snarling at him as it lay critically injured on the ground.
Sam smirked seeing its pathetic condition and slashed his blade, beheading it in one stroke!

Sam grinned ear to ear hearing the notifications! Stay points was exactly what he lacked at the present moment. He immediately felt his strength doubling again. At present, Sam felt that he could easily kill the level 3 silver-eyed wolf in ten or so strokes!
"System, keep the gene point from every level 3 beasts I kill separately for level 3 upgrade. I only want to use gene points from level 2 beasts for level 2 upgrade" said Sam.
After some moment of silence, the system finally replied * Yes*
Sam heaved a sigh of relief. Since he could now easily kill level 2, so it was better to evolve a level with level 2 monsters gene points!
He glanced at the surrounding fight only to see most of the wolves had already been killed, only a handful of level 2 remained which were trying to flee after their leader's death! But Sam would never let go of his free upgrade points. He rushed to the scene of the massacre and killed them one after another.

At least the fight ended. Sam was breathing hard at that moment. Fighting continuously with life on line had mentally exhausted him!
He took out a healing potion and applied it to his wounds and bandaged it.
He glanced around and collected level 3 and level 2 monster corpses and swiftly left the place. It was almost dark so it was not safe to be in the place of bloody carnage! Moreover, at night he would have difficulty fighting!
Sam quietly moved past the tress, neither slow neither fast. He could hear the beast stampeding from afar.
" Probably in more than an hour, the beast tide will reach the outer city." thought Sam...
He kind of felt guilty with the people who would be dying because of him, but he was helpless even to protect himself that he didn't have time to bode of this guilty feeling. He just vowed to kill all the masterminds in the future, to soothe the departed souls and also for his revenge!
Sam felt angry yet helpless at this moment. All he could do was to rush forward and kill any high-level beast in the outer region of the jungle to minimize the loss of military and citizens of the outer city!
Since he was partly responsible for the beast tide, he might as well help them to defeat these beasts, after all these monsters were enemies of whole mankind and he also had a bloody system mission to do!
So it was a win-win situation for him!

Sam rushed past the trees after checking his magic watch. He was going in depth of the outer part of the jungle where a colony of the Alaskan beast lived. They had a large number of level 3 beasts among them! He planned to kill them off at first before they could create any trouble!
