=2nd District – Infirmary Center=

A sound of painful cries is being heard inside the room. Two figures were standing at the front door of the operating room.

*BLAGG!!*

Ms. Kara: "I told you before guild master, that it's a dangerous thing! But---but you still let them go."

The head receptionist is quite upset about the situation. She still couldn't believe the tragedy that happened.

Berdo: "Kara…enough. No one wants this to happen. No one is to be blame."

GM Esley: "No, Berdo. She has the right to be upset." He's face is dark and grave.

Ms. Kara: *sigh* "I just hope the two will survive after this." She went inside the operating room to check the condition of the kids.

The infirmary has a machine that can bring back any missing limbs or parts of the body as long as the person is still breathing. The machine is one of the greatest inventions that Doctor Fran created to avoid meaningless death of the nomads and factions.

During the operation, the head receptionist notice that one of the kids is nowhere to be found in the room.

Ms. Kara: "Guild Master, where is Ray?" She rushed out to the hallway.

Berdo: "I didn't see the kid either. Is he in a different room?"

The guild master face went grim as he recalled what happened in the main entrance.

GM Esley: "Ray…Ray died."

The two were shocked upon hearing this.

Berdo: "What---what do you mean, guild master?" He still couldn't believe what he heard.

Kara was left in silent. She was not ready to hear the sad news.

GM Esley: "Since we don't know where the kid came from or even the identity of his parents. I was the one who took all the preparations. I let one of the guards buried him on a small forest near the 2nd District." He concealed the fact of what happened.

Berdo: "This---this can't be." He could not find the words to continue.

The guild master tapped his shoulder.

GM Esley: "I know it's hard to accept since this is the first time that this happened."

Ms. Kara: "How will you explain it to the two children?" She finally managed to speak.

GM Esley: "…I will tell them the truth. They will have to face and accept the fact."

The atmosphere in the Underground City of Ambeist suddenly turns cold and gray. It seems the city is also grieving for their lost.

=The Guild of Shield Faction - Main Office=

Berdo: "Guild Master, do you have any idea what they encountered above the plains?"

GM Esley: "I had the men investigated what happened. I found out that they encountered it?

Ms Kara: "It?"

GM Esley: "The Plague."

Upon hearing this, the two fell silent.

Ms. Kara: "Among the creatures they shouldn't have encountered, why did it have to be the Plague?" She couldn't believe it.

Berdo: "Guild Master, if you---"

GM Esley: "I know what you're thinking Berdo, but it's impossible." He cut him off. "At this moment, I'm afraid we don't have the power to annihilate the creature."

This is not the first time the Plague appeared to cause suffering to the realm. They know what the ancient vile can do. A group of powerful force is needed to bring the creature down.

Berdo and the head receptionist can't help but to accept the situation. It will take some time before the guild could take their revenge for the loss of one child. Still, they are grateful that the two of the children survived.

=Above the Plains=

Two figures of women with a child stood in the wilderness. One is carrying the child's lifeless body.

A.I.: "Vienna, wait up!…Why did we have to leave Ambeist?'

Vienna: "It's better this way. It's for the safety of your city."

A.I is a bit puzzled on what her sister said.

Suddenly they felt a strong whirled of energy.

*WHEESH!*

A.I look at the lifeless body of Ray.

A.I: "This is a different form of energy…What is it?"

Vienna: "I can't explain it to you right now. You need to take us to the Guarden Summit first." She's trembling.

A.I. seeing her sister agitated reaction, immediately follows.

The Guarden Summit is the meeting place of the seven guardians protecting the earth realm. The place is found in a different realm. On the center of the realm, stood a large circular column structure with large crystal beams. There lies the seven majestic thrones of the Guardians.

Guardians are the so called being sent in the earth realm during the olden world to stop the ungrateful seeds of Chaos, or what are known as viles. During the battle of the Guardians and the seeds of Chaos, the whole realm changed and the people suffered an unfortunate fate. When the battle came to end, the Guardians went into seclusion and their existence became a mere myth. These Guardian are the gods and goddesses that used to live with the earth people.

=The Guarden Summit=

*WHEESH!*

A second wave of energy was unleashed. Large shock waves threw the two goddesses away.

A.I.:"The energy is overwhelming."

Vienna: "Gather all our siblings, we can't take this one alone."

A.I.: "Un…EVOKE!"

Five figures suddenly appeared.

"Huh? This isn't the time for our annual meeting. Why did you summon us, big sister?" A man with a deep voice said.

"Ugh! I told you before that I don't like this kind of surprises." A young man with a sassy voice protested.

"Vienna? You didn't inform us that you're with big sister?" The voice came from a fierce lady.

"Oh, hey, hey, hey. Isn't it too early for our rendezvous? Unless you guys miss me." A man with an alluring voice spoke.

Everyone felt disgusted upon hearing the statement.

A.I.: *sigh* "Some things never changed."

She transformed into her real form.

Aegis: "We got a life and death situation here." She pointed to a corpse lying on the ground."

"The fragment of light is dead?" The five guardians said in unison.

Vienna: "We don't have much tim---"

*WHEESH!*

A third surge of energy flashed within their eyes.

All of the guardian felt the sudden burst of massive energy. The atmosphere turns gray. Dark clouds start to form and a series of lightnings and thunders appear.

The Guarden Summit was engulfed by a raging storm.

= Underground City of Ambeist=

The city is far more advanced than before. The crystal technology has made a large progressed with the help of the genius researcher Celsius. He became known as the Third Great Nomad in the city.

=Guild of the Shield Faction=

A young lady with long blonde hair had just finished all of her mission. Nympha is now an A Rank Tanker.

Nympha: "Since I'm finished with my task, can I excuse myself now Miss Kara?"

Ms. Kara: "Going to that place again?"

Nympha smiled and nodded.

Ms. Kara: "Go on."

=1st District - Nomads' Residents=

A teenage boy with purple hair and glasses came out from his house.

Celsius: "Mother… I'll be out for a while."

Therma: "Go on, be careful."

Celsius: "I will!"

He dashed outside.

Every year after the celebration of the Founding Festival of the City, Nympha and Celsius will always meet in the end street of the 2nd District where the small forest is located. Under a cypress tree, a large slab of stone stood.

Nympha: "We're here!" She warmly greeted the place.

Celsius: "Oh and we brought something." He showed a roasted chickadee inside the basket. "Too bad you can't eat it."

Nympha: "Hey…let's prepare the mat first."

Celsius: "You do it. I'll slice the food."

Nympha laid the mat in front of the slab of stone while Celsius place the sliced leg of the roasted chickadee beside it.

Nympha: "I hope you're not lonely here since we always keep our promise to visit you."

Celsius: "…And we never miss a single year. So you should be happy." He continued.

Nympha: "I also go here when I have spare time. I tell him how my mission went and what kind of creatures I encountered."

Celsius: "Same here. I mostly tell him my achievements and inventions."

Both felt silent for a while.

Nympha: "I---I just wish you're here to accompany me in my adventure." She was the one who first broke the silence between them.

Celsius: "I bet it will be awesome if that happens."

Nympha touched the engrave writings on the stone surface.

Nympha: "I miss you, Ray."

Celsius: "Same here."

The two closed their eyes to feel the peaceful atmosphere within the place.

=1st District - Main Entrance=

With the years passed by, the Underground City of Ambeist continue to be famous within the ears of all the merchants, travelers and adventures in the realm. A lot of people are coming in and out of the city. All the guards have to make sure to check all the visitors who came to explore. Everyone remains in their posts. The gates are well-guarded.

Guard 1: "Sir Lhem, everything is okay in my side. No suspicious person around here." The guard reported in the main entrance.

Guard 2: "It's clear her as well, Sir Lhem." Said by the post guard station at the exit gate.

Lhem: "Thank you for the efforts."

The leader of the post guard glanced at Berdo.

Lhem: "Nothing seems off as usual."

Berdo: "Un. It's a good thing."

Lhem: "I hope everyday in the city remains peaceful like this."

…

…

…

…

…

Suddenly among the crowds appeared a person wearing a black robe with a hood. A suspicious person was spotted.

Lhem quickly signaled his men. Three guards surround the person. They immediately erected a barrier.

Lhem and Berdo dashed from the scene.

Lhem: "Excuse me, *sir. This is just a small precaution we do here in the City of Ambeist." The black robe person turned his head at Lhem.

(Note: Lhem used the masculine gender to identify the person.)

Lhem: "…If you don't mind to take off your hood, so we can identify your face."

The suspicious person slowly takes off *his hood. The person has a dark hair and is wearing a demon mask. The mask has a large two horns attached on its side and two small horns on the upper corner.

Lhem: "Nghn…Take off that mask as well."

The person refused to follow Lhem's order. A powerful shock waves came from the person in black robe. The guards were pushed back from the overwhelming energy.

Berdo: "Everyone stay at your post!"

Lhem: "Sir Berdo…"

Berdo: "If anything happens call for back up…"

Lhem: "Understood, sir!"

Berdo stood in front of the person. A large intense pressure fills the area.
