Farewell Ceremony

Osy smiled at him, "thank you."

"You are welcome," Kakuda said, still confused about his actions.

He couldn't tell why he helped Osy. All he knew was that it was the right thing to do.

And for the first time in his life, Kakuda did something right.

The queen watched the interaction between them with narrowed eyes. She pursed her mouth as she watched them in displeasure.

Kakuda took a step back when he felt the eyes of the crown prince on him.

Osy smiled at Mar, who was still glaring daggers at the second prince.

"Now, let's proceed with the ceremony." The Ima raised his hand, and those who were carrying the coffin on their shoulders lowered the coffin.

They didn't let it fall to the ground, though. Each knelt with one knee and balanced the coffin with one knee.

Everyone rose to their feet as the coffin was lowered, and the elders removed the royal hats on their heads.
