Here I am. Crysanthe thought. So this is death. It's strangely black. Like I'm simply sleeping. But I'm not. Somehow she could open her eyes. The world was out of focus. It then became less blurry, and after that it came to normal. She saw a god. Simply a god. Not Arcus, not Arcum, but simply god.
"Hello, I am The God." The god said.
Crysanthe felt at peace for some reason.
"Oh yes, I forgot to mention, you are dead, but the god of life and death is currently trying to revive you, so you will survive." It added.
"Wait, I can survive death? That's just trippy." Crysanthe commented, though she wasn't sure how she was talking so casually in this situation.
"Yep, I know it sounds weird." The god replied. "Anyways, you'll be stuck with me for a while, for the revival process takes awhile, so might as well get to know each other. So having said that, what's you name?"
"Oh, my name is Crysanthe. And apparently I'm part of the Prophecy Of Old, being like the eldest child of The Father Of All, anyways, how about you, what's? Your backstory?" She chatted with God.
"Well my real name is Custos, the guardian of life and death. And originally I was just a young god who had the power to bring dead souls to the dead world, It was a weak power, but nobody could comment because I'm the eldest god, I existed before time. Well, I really wasn't the eldest god, but you were, the Father Of All isn't a god so he doesn't count. So I was left only with you, but you suddenly disappeared into the world of humans, but back then humans didn't exist. Your memory was wiped about I don't know like three years ago, and memories of you living with a human family were implanted in your brain, and as you can imagine, that was millennia after you disappeared." The God answered.
"Wow, I never realized how old I was, but anyways what was The Father Of All?" Crysanthe wondered.
"Oh, he was nothing much, just a supreme deity, not a god or a species, an idea, a creator of all, sort of like the author of a book. Except if the author wasn't a species." Custos explained.
"Well that's an interesting explanation. Anyways, do you have anything to do here besides talk? Like you must get bored."
"Nope, but one second, a bunch of deaths have piled up in my absence." Custos said with an alarmed look on his face."
He left, and Crysanthe was left with nothing to do but wait there for a few minutes. When he had finally came back she had already been pulled away to the living world.
