Months had now passed of her training, and she was the most powerful person in the castle. Even Ares seemed afraid of her, but not Enyo. But she missed Arcus. She needed to escape. She knew that there were windows in one of the rooms. Alarms went off when somebody jumped out, but the thing was, nobody else here could fly. So they had only set it up for people who would hit the ground. They didn't want to spend too much money, so it would only be when you hit the ground. Now because she was a flying type she could easily jump out. But guards were by all the windows. There was at most two guards per room which would be easy. She looked at the time. The clock had just struck midnight. Perfect, now it was mandatory for everybody to be in their beds, including Enyo and Ares. Everybody assumed that they stayed up to make sure nobody escaped, but she once left and found they were sound asleep in their separate rooms. This meant that she needed to get out. The door required a key, so she just made one out of plants and reached it under the door with a smaller branch. The key fit perfectly, and she was now free. There was a short period of time when the guards were locking the doors so they weren't at the windows. She knew that they had gone by her row, and were by now on the third floor based on where she heard the footsteps. So she left as quietly as possible, locking the door behind her so nobody would be suspicious. She found the nearest window which was in the dining hall. As she had assumed, nobody was there. She opened it and flew out. She then reached a small branch in there and almost closed it fully. No one would examine the window so closely, unless they really wanted to become more respected or something, so she felt safe. She flew away, to the god and goddess mansion. She had a pretty good memory when it came to routes, so she still remembered the way back from her dream. She knew that the castle only had pressure censors within a short area, so by now she assumed it was safe. It wasn't. The sound started to go off, and she quickly went back up. Nobody seemed to have heard. She flew a couple more meters, and then rested down. No sound went off. She relaxed. She walked the rest of the way back.
A couple hours had passed since she had touched down, and she was pretty sure she was headed in the wrong direction. She thought of the map and where the line had led, then walked left for a couple of miles. Now she should be close. And sure enough, she saw the very tip of the mansion right above the trees. She ran to it, and soon she found herself by the doorway. She walked in, relieved to finally be home.
