THE DOMINO EFFECT

Flosi awoke, ready for another day of the war. Several months had passed since the war had started, and it was soon to reach the half-a-year mark. So she suited up in her armor. It was a beautiful shining color, and she was almost unrecognizable in it. She never put on her helmet no matter how much the gods pleaded, so the tips of her hair brushed her armor. She got outside in her usual position, hidden in a bush. She awaited for Enyo to come with her troops. As she waited, she heard a screaming far off in the distance. She kept her sword sheathed and stealthily snuck towards the screaming. The bushes covered her, but she was moving too slowly. So she climbed up on a tree and jumped from tree-to-tree. The leaves and branches of the trees surrounded her, making her seem just like a ray of sunlight. The screaming became louder and louder, until she heard it right under her. She found Enyo pinned under multiple trees which appeared to have fallen, creating the domino effect. Tree trunk after tree trunk lay in a domino effect, each over one hundred feet long. Her small gang of minions attempted to lift it off her body, but failed. Flosi decided to fight her minions. She jumped down and landed on a minion's head, then attempted to slash it off, but a sword blocked her. She sliced at her opponents and they sliced at her. These were some of the best in the whole training camp, and she knew most of them. She had trained with Rosie, Leo, Percy, Juniper, and Blaze. As she sliced off Blaze's sword hand in one swift motion, she remembered the training that she had done with her. Rosie came up behind her, attempting to catch her off guard, but she heard her coming. So she jumped into a tree and jumped behind her, landing so softly that no noise was made. Quieter than a mouse, she snuck up behind Percy and decapitated him before Leo could warn him. Blood gushed out across the ground, and got sucked up by the plants. Blaze was cradling her arm in her one hand, and gazed at her hand which sat by the root of a tree. Leo rushed at Flosi with a newfound rage, but she simply jumped in the air, blocked his sword with hers, and stabbed her sword which she had named Soul-Sucker into his head. She felt it penetrate his skull and reach his brain, then she pulled it out. Leo dropped dead, and she attempted to get leverage from his skull which didn't really work, so she landed ungracefully right on her bum. Now Juniper and Rosie circled her, while Blaze guarded Enyo. She stood up slowly, then in one quick moment stabbed Rosie. Rosie had been her best friend in the training camp, and a rush of guilt overcame her. She battled the guilt out of her mind, thinking of what Rosie had willingly created. She had helped Ares and Enyo torture powerful humans, and she just wasn't ready to think that her best friend really had. She had offered to help Rosie escape, but she had declined, saying that she liked it there. Flosi at the time had been Crysanthe, and she pretended to agree, then waited a while so Rosie would really believe that she didn't want to leave. But she had. She was pulled back to reality when Juniper slashed her sword at her forehead, creating a large gash that blinded her with blood. Unable to see clearly, she ran at what she assumed was Juniper's head, and felt her drop dead. She wiped the blood from her eyes, and then easily killed Blaze. Now all that was left was Enyo. She was half out, but her arms were still pinned. So she simply decapitated her like she had done to Percy.
