Chapter 5

Akari dodged to the side while getting her own weapon out of her system inventory.

The hunters were a bit stunned that the girl infront of them got a weapon out of nowhere.

Now that the Hunters see her as a threat the one aiming his pistol at the girl started to shoot but missed all shoots.

Akari shoot behind her with her gun to give her more breathing space.

Akari made a left turn and turned round aiming her gun at the corner and switching on full auto. When the first Hunter came into sight she held down the trigger.

The first bullets were absorbed by his aura but after it was destroyed the bullets pierced through him

The Hunter looked shocked before he fell back blood coming out of multiple gunshot wounds.

Then Akari heared one of the hunters scream.

"Noooooo!"

Akari quickly continued running and reloaded her M16. She made another turn and then another and another until she stopped. There were no footsteps following her. There was noone she could smell or sense nearby. They lost her or were probably trying to save there comrade who should be dead by now.

Akari waited for another 10 minutes to make sure that she wasn't followed but noone came within her hearing range.

' Huh that was intense. I'm lucky that they decided to stop nd help there team member instead. I don't know if I would be able to fight all of them if it comes to close quarter combat since I don't have a melee weapon. Huh that's another thing on my shopping list. '

'Actually I should do it right now in case they come back. '

Akari opened her system and went to the melee weapons tab.

But she looked astounded at the amount of lien she got out of that bank raid.

' 46.257 will be able to fund me for a long time. '

Akari tried to focus and buy herself a melee weapon.

Well looking at the weapons I will pick this one.

Akari bought the Katana causing another option to appear.

Do you want to merge Katana and M16?

Cost: 1000 lien

Akari decided to merge them to be able to simply transform her M16 in a Katana.

' Great now I just got to get to the docks get my boat out of my system inventory and sail towards Atlas. '

Akari put her M16 on her back and starts to head to the Harbor again.

Hunter POV

"Noooooo!"

Dean fell to the ground while blood flew out of multiple gunshot wounds. Lira and Laura ran to our fox faunus leader to try and stabalize his condition while I ran around the corner with my submaschine gun in hand only to see a glimpse of our target dissapear behind a corner.

I could have followed her but decided not to our team leader is more important.

When I came back I saw that it was really bad and if it weren't for Lira's healing semblance he would have been dead.

I immeadiatly called for help from beacon.

"Glynda are you there this is Thomas."

"Yes Thomas I am listening, have you managed to get her?"

"No and Dean would be dead without Lira's semblance. He is still in critical condition. We need help here."

"Is she still there no, the last thing I saw from her was that she dissapeared into another alley. I decided to help my team leader instead."

"I understand I am going to send a bullhead to you."

"Okay we will wait." I ended the call and went to my other team members.

"Is he going to be okay?" I asked Lira.

"Yes he will be alright. I still can't believe he almost died. And the shoots were placed to kill. Whoever that was didn't want to just wound us." I could see that Lira was bout to cry and wanted to comfort her but before I could Laura started to talk.

"Whoever that was is very dangerous and needs to be either dead or behind bars." I could basically see fire in her eyes. But she is right that girl is to dangerous.

"Don't worry we will get revenge for our squad leader and all the other person that were hurt or killed by her." It maybe sounded like tge standard hero line but I promised it for myself and my team that I will fullfill this promise whatever the cost.

Meanwhile in Beacon

Glynda ran into Ozpins office startling him.

"Ozpin we need to send a bullhead to team DLLT. Dean is in critical conditions."

Ozpin nodded and send a bullhead to the team.

"Okay Glynda can you please tell me why the team leader of our hunter team is critically wounded? What happened?" Ozpin asked.

"I don't know to much myself besides that that girl wounded him that badly. They will have to tell us if we want to know what exactly happened."

That girl came out of nowhere and now we have one manager and two guards dead plus a huntsmen critically wounded. I thought she was only capable of overwhelming them because they were normal humans but now we at least know that she has aura and an unknown semblance too."

Ozpin recounted all events until he pulled out a map.

"Glynda please mark the points were w encounterred her."

Glynda took a pencil and marked all 3 dust stores, the gun shop, the bank and the point were the Hunter team last saw her.

Ozpin looked over it and then drew a line. It was a straight line and not all marks were on it but it gave them the general direction were the girl they were searching was heading... and Ozpins line ended at the harbor.

"That is were she is most likely heading. Tell the Vale Police Depardment to strengthen security there. Send two more teams of hunters their. Tell them to keep watch on the ships there so she can't enter any of them."

Glynda nodded.

"Right away Ozpin."
