19. Windfall 2.

Moving on I find a package wrapped up containing a familiar black base box. Which is also probably better than what I've got.

"Well let's go check this out." I had already emptied everything else from the trunk which I wanted to swap as its internal space was bigger than mine, it was more sturdy and had tracking abilities if it was stolen. Along with a small water purifier, and a solar panel so I could charge things if needed.

We head outside.

"Where are we?" Rook asks noticing the fog walls and the portal.

"Ah I forgot to mention that. There are two things that we don't talk about or mention outside of this space. First off is this space, it's a special internal world I have, kind of like an ability. The second is my ability to use fighter skills. Those are my only rules." I state before finding an open space and setting the box down.

It does the primary scan and we have to keep stepping back much to my confusion before a massive fucking base is formed.

Like I'm talking super fucking huge, could hold hundreds of people kinda huge. Not only that but to even get inside we all have to register our DNA, Fingerprints and eye scans.

Stepping past the massive walls I see basically a 4 story building with a large greenhouse to one side. Curious about that I walk over and see hundreds of different berry bushes and trees growing. This thing is literally warehouse sized filled with plants.

"This could feed an army." I look around.

"It was designed to, this is the armies long term barracks base for either dungeons or extended trips into unknown lands, it pulls moisture from the air, solar panels and batteries can keep this going for months without needed a charge, can house over 500 people, has it's own medical facilities, greenhouse, cafeteria, laboratory, training facilities, warehouses, it even comes equipped with a garage. All state of the art of course, only the best for the military." Rook states having lived in the military and seen these kinds of buildings before all the time.

"It has a garage?! What the fuck would a trainer need with all this space?" I ask in shock.

"Some trainers easily have up to 20 or 30 fighters so it's not uncommon to need large bases to house them. So in the military these barracks are used fo house sometimes 5 to 10 people and their teams it wasn't built for a single person." Rook says giving me a glance. "There is usually enough food in the greenhouses for close to 700 people and with water being pulled constantly from the air, if a group need to stay long term somewhere hostile they can easily do so. Here let me show you around the greenhouse first."

Leading the way inside Rook shows us how to work everything from the sprinklers to the repotters. "There is even herb based medicines for the synthesizers in the lab to produce potions and other healing items." She points out various herbs I'd never seen before along with healing berries.

I didn't need a greenhouse since all my items could just grow on my land but it was still nice. Maybe I'll transplant all the berry bushes so they can upgrade to trees. It would be a good head start as mine still need over 2 2/3 months to reach the bush stage. There were about 10 trees each so transplant 5 for long term growth, the rest for food now. I doubt even we could eat through over 700 people worth of food. Then replant berries in the empty spots so they can start growing.

"Did that old man steal an entire barrack?" I ask in shock.

"Nah he probably just asked for it, he is a retired General after all." Rook says. "He also owns a rather large corporation that works with spatial technology so he should be able to get these things easily."

"Man his grandson is in for a rough time then." I grin as we head out of the greenhouse. "Think he left any vehicles?" I ask.

"We can check." Rook says heading over to another part of the building with large garage doors. Pressing her thumb against the scanner the door slides open and the lights pop on.

There were indeed vehicles inside, a large armored 8 wheeled van, a 4 person jeep and truck, what appears to be a motorcycle, a large cargo truck. All looking shiny and brand new as well as looking rather futuristic. There were even tools and spare parts in the back and on the walls, along with a bunch of machines I had no idea how to use.

"I really got incredibly lucky." I mutter with a grin.

Heading inside I have to say this place is literally massive, there is a full blow cafeteria, walk in freezers, industrial sized grills, fully stocked too with the freezer filled with frozen meats, theres food processors and meat cutters, massive fucking fridges and industrial dish washers.

Moving on there was a fully stocked gym with a pool, like we are talking a full blown gym, fighting rings included, weights, treadmills, televisions and speakers for music or tv.

"What is that?" I ask pointing to a strange looking room.

"Meditation chamber, it can use above c rank crystal's to make meditation environments to increase training efficiency. You just put a crystal inside of that container and then the energy from inside is pumped into the room and contained." Rook says, walking over to a wall she presses a button and it opens to reveal loads of head sized crystal's in various colors making me gulp as I had seen 1 of those go for over a million. "The military has tons of this stuff just lying around mines from various dungeons."

I hadn't even got to use the one I had spent a 1/10th of my money on. Now I feel embarrassed as I see about 20 the size of my head just laying there in cases.

"I'm going to need a moment okay?" I just lay down on the ground and wallow for a few minutes. Maybe I should join the military eh?
