84. God of the common folk.

The various captains watched in awe as we moved through various run down trash villages leaving behind small paradises.

New buildings sprage up, roads were neatly paved with stone as we walked, beautiful water fountains were created, rich forests filled with plentiful food, junk turned into usuable items, criminals captured. They even assisted in interrogations just to make sure there were no funny tricks.

Of course it wasn't just prisoners. Orphaned children were also brought along to a new area I had built in my territory, i had land and noble rights so i figured i could put in an orphanage and start teaching. Various clones were working non stop getting everything settled.

Kensei had asked one time. "Why are you taking these children? None of them have soul force they can't be soul reapers."

"So you abandon children simply because they cannot be soldiers?" I ask and he shut his mouth rather rapidly from the glare the women gave him.

Luckily one of the Nuibiri users from the 7 swordsmen knew how to stitch clothes. Seems quite fitting for someone using the sword known as The Needle. I had quite a few funds so clones were working on making new clothes from cloth that I had purchased personally.

I was going to be here for like 400 years, I had time to raise children who I would teach to raise more children and take care of themselves.

I can easily teach them basic math, writing, reading, some martial arts, morals, science, study like that.

"Its the job of the adults to prepare the children for the future, if those children have no one to prepare them I'll take that responsibility. I once heard that not every parent deserves a child but every child deserves a parent. These children will get a parent! Children who died young like this don't deserve to live a second crappy life filled with cold and hungry! This is supposed to be a place to live in peace, not a garbage filled dump!"

The captains were stunned by the resolve rolling off their new companion, not even a full week in and he is already making massive waves.

As for Ryan, it had angered him seeing children living under such miserable conditions. Like a furious storm he tackled the problem head on, fix it! What did he have these powers for if he couldn't even fix the things in front of him that bothered him.

The earth rumbled under his feet creating a path to the future, hope sprouted from the very ground he walked by, hunger became a thing of the past behind him. Like a furious god of change he swept through the villages leaving behind clones to teach the older people skills, taking the orphaned and abandoned and offering them the warmth they deserved, sweeping the filth that had covered this land away.

There was no negotiation for those who had committed sins and crossed his bottom line, they were tossed right into the Mimic prison which floated in the sky like a massive fortress prison. There was nowhere for them to hide and they had no idea about the god of wrath who was working his way around all of the soul world. None escaped those white eyes of his.

Various reports were sent off to soul society where the rest of the captains, and even the captain-commander was gob smacked. They had never heard of something like this happening before, it wasn't against any laws they had. What are they going to do, arrest him for growing plants, capturing criminals, and building houses?

The word of Ryan rang out via soul butterfly for everyone in the captains room lighting a fire inside them as well! Of course they wanted to change things an help people! However as captains the power they had was limited, some of the things Ryan was doing had never been seen before!

"You know we don't have enough room in any of the prisons for these criminals. There has to be over 300,000 by now." Yoruichi says looking at the mimic prison.

*Squelch!*

The entire prison contracted over the murderers instantly crushing them to death.

A cold voice rang out as blood spilled from the sky. "Oops, I slipped."

The captains shivered, Unohana shivered in a different way though. They were all killers and had killed their fair share of people or hollows, however none of them had killed hundreds of thousand of people in an instant.

Hundreds of thousands of souls flew out to rejoin the cycle of reincarnation.

"Must have been this uneven ground, good thing I'm working on fixing it." Ryan says as the massive ball of people vanish into light. "Just double checking, the punishment for rape, murder and banditry is still death right."

"Yes!" Unohana moans out hotly.

"Well no loss then." The journey continued.

Various captains rotated out with their lieutenants to watch the show, crime dropped to an all time low, hollow attacks stopped completely as Captain Grim had clones stationed in almost every village and any problem was handled immediately.

Another thing that cropped up was the nobles figuring out what was happening but most of them were too stupid to realise what was happening and how it was too late for them to do anything.

What did they care if someone went and started feeding the poor, fixing the roads, getting rid of the bandits, what did they care if he picked up some filthy brats and moved them into his own territory, why should they care if they were given new hovels to live in, so what if the new captain wanted to teach them some skills to live, that just means it was safer for them to travel the roads, they could pay less for guards right? New opportunities to sell goods to the common rabble after all.

Everyone was happy, what was there to complain about? Now they didn't have to waste their hard earned money on fixing the roads and fixing ugly little villages.
