You'd expect a night sky to be dark and black, but this unexplainable and indescribable blackness had a slightly odd tint to it. It was something I had never experienced before. It was as if no one else in the world existed except me, CR, and...
Oh my god. Oh my god!
In my excitement, I momentarily forgot about Ghost. I was so excited after seeing all that gold, that I immediately wanted to take it all - well, at least what was supposed to be mine. I completely forgot that I was doomed.
I decided to tell CR about it.
He laughed. "You seriously expect me to believe that you released that thing from the myth?"
"No...well yeah, but I..."
"Come on! I just drove my grandma to the hospital. Do I have to now take you there as well? Probably just a thick cloud or something making everything look so black and eerie. Don't worry about th..."
He stopped short when we both suddenly heard merciless evil laughter from all around us.
'Umm..." CR started, " I think we should go inside."
I nodded, too afraid to say anything. I followed him to the back gate, which, unfortunately, was... locked. So we started running towards the front door and were just about to turn its handle when we saw him. Ghost.
There was blood all over his body, and since CR was hemophobic, he immediately fainted at its very sight.
I became scared, as that only meant one thing: I had to face Ghost all by myself.
I couldn't really find the courage to turn around and open the door, as Ghost could then easily kill me from behind. So I started running, and well...he followed. I circled the house once, and a shiny something caught my eye. I saw that it was one of the gold bars which we had brought up.
Ruling my options, I picked up the gold bar and flung it at Ghost...and it landed straight on his chest. Ghost uttered a moanful cry that sounded like the cry of a wounded wolf. He stopped following me and fell to the ground.
