|The Music Room|

--Honey Lou's Point of View--

And now, here I am once again, on my way to the rooftop since nothing in this school can fill me up or make me feel less tired, hence, I will spend my entire break in peace...

Hoping that no other souls will cause disturbance to me as I stay up here all by myself, enjoying the cold breeze.

But right before I could even leave the classroom, the moment I stood up from my seat, someone had already dragged me on my way outside, and when the person took me by the hand, I recognized them with no doubt that this was my older sister, Lee Haesu.

"I am not letting you out of my sight..."

I felt glad that she was concerned even when we kind of fought all the time.

She would always think of my well-being although, she did backstab me every single time around the others.

We were peacefully walking in the corridor when she suddenly spoke up, informing me about that upcoming event they had.

Asking me if I would like to be the one who'd take the spot they have all been avoiding for some reason but I didn't accept it with little time to decide.

"It's on May 29th, right?" after hesitating to answer, I asked her to make sure that it would go well under my leadership since it is a family business including the event.

It might be too important to handle with no idea what I'm doing.

What if I mess it up?

'I'm still hesitant about this one.'

Once a huge crowd of students formed in the middle of the hall, Haesu-eonni pushed through as she dropped my hand and unintentionally left me behind.

Not knowing that I was planning to get away from the group just for a day more.

I don't really wanna hang out around them too much since who knows?

'Well, I easily lose interest in something or someone once I spend too much time with them.' being with my friends is something that I like but when I lose interest...

It is impossible to have anything to do with them, such as seeing them, talking to them, or even simply being around them. Honestly, I don't know for sure if spending less time around them would be useful yet I'm doing it.

Finally! Freedom from my sister, I held onto my face as I walked out of building C, heading towards building A, and up to the school rooftop I went once again.

To have my peaceful session.

'That's strange.' I am not even dreaming but there goes that lullaby-like melody, playing loud enough for me to hear so I followed it.

Wondering how it is possible for someone else to know.

Is it because I've only heard from someone else back then?

Or could it be that this is some kind of hallucination?

I continued following it as long as the melody kept on playing but it turns out that it came from one of the music rooms on the 5th floor in building A, specifically, a music room with the sign that says...

'Vintage' and what does that have to do with music?

It refers to something very old.

Don't know why I'm even discussing that but here we go, I entered the music room called Vintage, hearing the melody play now, but still, it was nowhere in sight.

'Where exactly is it coming from?'

It must've been hidden somewhere, like in a secret room or something like that, I noticed a few music discs out of place, unlike the other ones which are organized and placed neatly.

'Don't tell me...'

When I went closer and inserted it all on the shelves according to the colors, there came a clicking sound as a square door slightly opened up.

Revealing the music box as well as a hidden route within the school's broad walls, the moment I came in, the music finally came to an end.

'But what is that?'

"Are you kidding me?!" I shouted in a whisper, realizing that there was also another way in here even without unlocking that small entrance, how am I so dumb?

'At least I still discovered something else.'

As soon as the lights turned on all of a sudden, I returned outside and settled my fingers on any keys on the grand piano that was in the middle of the music room.

Playing it simultaneously.

--Author's Point of View--

His hunch was right all along, seeing as the girl figured it out, he was amazed by the view of Honey Lou playing the grand piano independently now.

Compared to how they both were back then, his feelings slightly changed for a moment until he remembered everything he went through...

'Where'd she go?' he questioned himself as he lost sight of the girl in a split second.

It all went by quickly although, things didn't happen based on his plan, Dan simply wanted to confirm if it truly was her, the first love who had hurt him.

Nevertheless, it's obvious that he still cares about her.

Dan left the room he was in and then, went up to the rooftop.

Expecting the girl to be there but he couldn't find her, so he resumed seeking her in other areas, ending up far from where she was.

Meanwhile, behind the wall he left recently, was a room with a non-transparent window in which you could see through from the other side.

The place was very quiet now, it was also simply designed, empty but filled with life.

'I am a lucky girl!' Honey had expressed her gratitude to the melody that led her in that very room as she roamed around more for a little while, not minding any of her classes.

She remained in that music room for the rest of the day, metaphorically, the silence once again cast a sleeping spell on her, resulting in deep sleep.

'This is definitely where I am marking my territory now.' Honey Lou had presumed while she slowly slept in, at school the whole afternoon till the next day.

On the other hand, he continuously ran around all the school buildings while the darkness made him even more troubled without knowing if the girl had already departed the area or not, Dan ended up on the rooftop as the sun completely settled down.

And the girl who's still in slumber with no sign of waking up anytime soon.

'I hate that girl.' he ironically exaggeratingly thought.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sun rose at the same time as Honey Lou, she also received many messages from the girls on the previous day.
The girl immediately sprang up and took all her belongings then started walking outside.
'You dozed off yesterday.'
She spoke to herself as she slowly made her way out of the building.
On her way to the school grounds, she caught a glimpse of a male's figure under a tree in the center of the whole blooming garden, witnessing someone asleep.
Honey passed by there for a brief moment and attempted to wake him up because their school would probably start in two hours.
But still, it was no use so Honey was left with no other choice, she sprayed water on his face to quickly wake him up.
"Please wake up already, sir." the female student spoke softly, Dan woke up in a second as he saw the girl impatiently mumbling all sorts of things.
He noticed as well that the sun had begun rising and recalled every consequence they would face if someone found them inside the school this early.
"Oh, my!" the girl clearly said aloud, panicking as she turned around to see the male student in pain, luckily, Honey had only kicked him lightly and it was completely fine.
Dan held onto his head, crouching as he could not handle the minor pain he felt but kept himself from showing it, hearing the girl talk about how she was very guilty and regretful for doing such a thing.
'Unbelievable.' he slightly smiled.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I sincerely apologize twice a hundred times, I didn't mean to do it on purpose..." she continued formally confessing her wrongdoing to the other individual.

Although, she stopped as soon as she saw the woman who lived a few blocks from her place, helping her with the groceries. Dan smiled at the sight of his first love acting no different from how she used to be, and until now.

"Let me help you..."

He followed after the two, assuming that they were both close, saying from the casual talk they had.

"You seem to be quite early today, Honey Lou." the lady mentioned, opening the door to a not-so-big house to live in and welcoming her guests.

She placed aside everything before heading somewhere.

"I accidentally slept elsewhere as well as this blonde boy from school, Ms. Haejin."

Honey responded as the lady returned with drinks in her hand, Dan took one and so did Honey, all three of them talked for a little bit before the girl stood up, and followed the woman inside the kitchen.

She insisted that she would rather be the one to wash the dishes they used while the other stayed in the living room.

Dan played with the puppies and his shoes were being chewed by the two, he tried again and again, pulling back from the culprits as Honey returned to the living room.

She started giggling at the sight of the other student in a huge mess as he retrieved the shoes he needed for school.

'He looks silly.'
