Spreading Care

After finishing talking to Bree a few minutes later, Kathy and Maelyn continued down the street and made sure to go to the neighborhood of nicer, higher priced, houses that Harmon still owned. Walking from house to house they were able to see most of them empty because of the residents waiting in line for their food at the Bakery. If they saw a house with tenants still there they would go up and present them with plates for all of the family members that lived at the house and share the news about the food being available every night at the Bakery for free while they were being subjected to the exorbitant rent. They had made their way most of the way through that side of the neighborhood before they came to the address of the secretary Bree had asked her to check on.
