Chapter Eighteen

Dante POV:

After making sure the horses were comfortable I followed the same staircase princess had walked up a few minutes before.

Not once did I ever think I'd come back to this place, I'd tried to in the past and planned to show my brother all the hidden villages I'd visited after a few years but I could never get time, balancing the bar and making sure my brother stayed out of trouble long enough to be able to leave had kept me quite busy.

This place held so many memories, it was here when I met Chirom for the first time, and it was here where I had to leave and return home. Before long I'd reached the top of the second bridge, where the princess had waited for me.
