She smiled as she stood still in front of me with tears in her eyes, she still looked the same even after years of not seeing each other; her hair was a dull red and her eyes were a darker shade than mine. We looked so alike that others mistook us for twins. But we had no relation whatsoever.

She was there when the beast of a man brought me to his house, but she managed to escape with the help of her uncle leaving me behind. Back then I was too young to wonder why she left me, but as I stood before her and her before me, I could not help but blame her for everything, if only she had not left me.
