Enola POV

We both had a mini staring contest for a few seconds before I decided speak up

“ where did you get this clock?”

Grace raised her eyebrows “ where did you got yours? ”

“ I don’t remember! And I asked first” I gave her a glare

“it belonged to my auntie”

I stared at the clock as hope filled my eyes before meeting her gaze again.

“ what’s the way to return?”

Grace stared at me in disbelieve and it wasn’t long before she gave me a smile. A mocking one

“ and who told you could go back?”

“ I know there is a way back” i sounded confident but in reality I wasn’t.

Once again she gave a mocking smile which somehow triggered me.

“ what’s so funny?”

Giggling she replied “ nothing! it’s just you mixing your wishful thinking with reality. The by product is really funny”

“ make yourself clear” i was dead serious

Grace expressions changed into serious.

“ there is no way back so give up the thought and accept your fate”
